"Jade, you're going to be fine, I promise." Calum cooed. We were sitting in my school parking lot, the day of my big Biology exam. To say I was panicking would be an understatement.

"I know, I'll call you when it's over." I nodded.

"I love you." he said and gave me a quick kiss, which I returned gratefully.

"Love you too, see you later Cal."

Shutting the passenger door to his car, I made my way inside the school.

Oh shit.

"Hi babe." Calum's chirpy voice rang into my ear as he picked up his phone two hours later.

"Hey." I sighed.

"Oh no, the test didn't go well?" he asked, and I could hear the nervousness in his voice.

"It was fine." I lied.

I completely bombed that test. Like, I didn't even know if I was going to graduate now, and it was just some stupid Biology test. But I didn't want Calum to worry or be disappointed, so I was trying to pretend that everything was okay.

"Aw, baby. Get dressed, I'm coming to pick you up and we're going out to dinner." Calum said, and I could practically hear the smile on his face.

"Cal, you don't have to-"

"I want to. Now get up, I know you can." Calum patronized me. I rolled my eyes and got up, using my shoulder to keep my phone on my ear so I could put my pants on while still talking to Calum.

"I'm putting pants on now." I laughed.

"I'll be there in 5." Calum said, then hung up the phone. I shrugged and tossed it on to my bed. The silence in my room didn't last long, though, because my phone buzzed with a text two seconds later.

Calum: Love you:-))

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help the giant smile that spread out on my face when I read his message. I typed back a quick 'love you too', then began readjusting my makeup.

I heard a knock at the front door not long after, and I skipped down to get it. But Mum beat me to it.

"Hello, Calum, cmon in." she smiled. Mum didn't even know that Cal was coming over; yet she still invited him inside.

"Thanks Leanne. I'm taking Jade out for dinner." he smiled proudly. Neither of them knew I was watching them, and I couldn't stop. Calum just looked so cute.

"Oh my. Yes, she did have a not so good day. I felt so bad when she came home and was disappointed because of that test." Mum frowned.

"She was nervous. I just don't want her to worry, there's so much more to life than some dumb Biology test. I don't want her to feel like her life is over because she didn't do too well on a test." Calum nodded.

"You're too sweet, Calum. Jade is very blessed to have someone like you." Mum smiled, causing a huge grin to break out onto Calum's face. It was instantly the cutest thing I had ever seen.

"Thank you, Leanne." Calum grinned.

I decided that that was my cue to go down there, so I went down the stairs noisily so they knew I was coming. Both of their heads turned to me when I came down; Calum still smiling like an idiot.

"You look beautiful." Calum smiled genuinely, taking my hand in his.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I teased.
