Chapter 12 - Pfft!! We're Not Siblings

It weekend. Aera spends her time in the bedroom while watching movies on her laptop. She eating some snacks since she doesn't want to go out and meet those idiots. 

It will ruin her weekend. While she watching a movie, she can hear some noise from outside. Like, talking and laughing. Obviously, they happy without her. She grabs her drink but it empty. She mentally groaning. 

"Can I get a robot and ask him to go get me a drink?" Aera mutters. 

She paused her movie and get up lazily. She grabs her mask and went out. The laughing and talking sounds get near and near. 

"Yahh!! I'm not!!" Hoseok yells.

"Admit that you look like a horse." Jungkook laughs.

"I agree," Taehyung added.

Aera looks at them and they watching their childhood videos. She just ignores them and walks to the kitchen. 

"Where is it? I hope they didn't drink it." She said. 

She saw her drink. She let out a relieved sigh and take it. Before the glass touch her lips-

"That's my drink." A voice makes her startled.

"W-What?" Aera pulls her mask first before turns around.

"That's my drink." Taehyung repeats. 

"Oh..." She looks down. If she follows her heart, she wants to say no. "I'm sorry. Here." She puts down the drink on the counter.

"Don't drink someone else drink." He sneers and harshly grabs it. 

"I'm sorry, okay?" Aera said. She rolls her eyes.

Taehyung about to drink but she stops him by grabbing his wrist. He looks surprised but then he pushes her away. Aera falls on the ground. 

"WHO TOLD YOU TO TOUCH ME!?" Taehyung yells. The glass broke on the ground.

"I-" 

"DO YOU WANT ME TO CUT YOUR HANDS OFF!?" He yells again. 

His yelling making all the boys rush to the kitchen. They look confused, Jin's eyes landed on her, and gasp. 

"Aera!" He rushes to her and helps her to stands up. "Are you okay?" He asks gently.

"I'm okay." She answers. She felt something sharp on her skin. 

"You are bleeding, Aera!!" Hoseok knees in front of her.

Her legs have a cut by the broken glass that Taehyung drops. She let out a heavy sigh and stands up with Jin's help and Hoseok. 

"I'm sorry for touch you." Aera apologized calmly.

"Touch him?" Jimin frowns. "Woah. I don't know she's slut." He laughs mockingly.

"I told you, Hyung. She's not someone that we expected she will be." Jungkook snaps. 

They just bash her with their harsh words. Hurting? She felt nothing. Maybe because she has been hurt always. 

"Can you let me finish my sentence? Please don't just butt in like you know what happened." Aera scolds them.

Yoongi let out a sound 'pfft'. The other looks at him with raised eyebrows. "What? Don't give me that look." He rolls his eyes.

"I saw that drink has ant around the glass. I about to tell you that but you suddenly- whatever. I'm out." Aera sighs and walks away. 

The girl walks away just like that with bleeding legs. Jin scoffs and crosses his arms on his chest. 

"Wow. Thank you guys for making it worse. She obviously just want to save you from drinking water that full of ant!!" He scolds the youngest.

"Hyung, why you always siding her!? Is she special to you!?" Jungkook yells.

"Jungkook, don't raise your voice like that. What Jin said is true. Aera just trying to be kind with us." Hoseok added.

"Seriously, why you two keep siding her?" Jimin puts his hands on his hips. 

"We're not siding her. We just say the truth." Jin said.

"Oh yeah? Or both of you already fell in love with her?" Jungkook scoffs. 

Suddenly, Jin slams the counter loudly causing them to flinches. Namjoon accidentally drops his book. They know, once Jin gets angry, he will never be nice.

"CAN ALL OF YOU STOP WITH YOUR STU*ID BEHAVIOR!?" He yells. "Every one of us has a bad past and even Aera. If we can help each other, why can't we help her?" 

Silence. 

No one dares to talks back. 

But then, Taehyung scoffs. "Tch. This is stu*id." He pushes everyone aside and walks to his room.

One by one walks away leaving Jin. He sighs and sits on the chair. Jungkook words stuck inside his mind. 

Fell in love with her?

"Are you okay Jin?" Namjoon asks while taking out some food.

"Why you guys hate her so much? I know you guys can't accept her even me also. But I try to accept her and why can't you guys?" He spokes.

"I didn't say that I can't accept her. " Namjoon responds. He puts down a bag of chips. "Something is holding me back."

"You scared, Joon. I know. You were afraid she will be gone like how mother did and our father. We should feel glad that our new father didn't left us and make a new family with us." Jin pats his shoulder and walks away.

Namjoon looks down.

She staring at her bleeding legs. It hurt but she didn't feel anything. Aera let out a heavy sigh and laid on the bed. 

"Why I deserve this?" She mutters. 

Unexpectedly, someone knocks on her door. She gets up, grabs her mask but the door just opens reveals Jin with the aid kit.

"I already know your face so you don't need to hide it," Jin speaks as he closes the door. 

She sighs in relief and puts away her mask. "What do you want?" 

"You know your legs are bleeding right?" He asks. He sits down in front of her and grabs her legs gently.

"I know. Then?" Aera raises her eyebrows.

"I can't believe you ask that question. Stop asking and let me treat our wounds and your lips." Jin responds.

"What's wrong with my lips?" She furrows her eyebrows.

"Remember when Jungkook slaps you? It heals already but I have a cream that can make the scar gone." Jin said. 

Aera just nods. She watches him doing his work. He looks so, gentlemen. From the first time she saw him, he really looks the gentle one. Even the first time not, but still, he is gentle.

No wondered why because he is the oldest. But how about Hoseok? He never is mean towards her. When they first met, he already being kind.

"What are you thinking of?" Jin asks. 

"Nothing. Just wondering why you so kind to me." She shrugs her shoulders.

Jin stops his work and lifted his gaze. He stares at her for a while but then continues what he's doing.

"We're siblings after all." He answers. Even his answer sounds not...true, Aera just nods because she felt lazy to talk back.

"Pfft!! We're not siblings." Aera scoffs. 

He let out a sigh. "I know you hate us. I hope you can give us time to change." Jin's voice sounds like he really meant it. 

He begging for it. Somehow, it manages to change Aera's heart.
