Chapter 20 - Lost Pt.2

"Where those two is!!??" Jin groaning frustrated.

"This is so much burden," Jungkook mutters.

"It wouldn't be a burden if you stop being rude and show her a good side so that she didn't feel left out," Jin said sarcastically.

"Tsk. It wouldn't be a burden also if she is not our step-sister." He talks back.

Jin clenched his fist. "That doesn't matter. You are the one who make it hard, Kook."

When Jungkook about to say something, but Namjoon cuts him off.

"Stop, Jungkook. You keep talking back." Namjoon said sternly.

He rolls his eyes and folds his arms.  Yoongi let out a sigh and walks away.

"Yoon!! Where are you going!?" Hoseok yells.

"Anywhere." He answers, leaving all of them.

Taehyung and Areum just sit on the bench. She keeps rubbing her hands together to stay warm but there is no use.

Her body already shivering. Suddenly, she coughing and sneezing. Then, she felt lightheaded.

Taehyung who thinking about what should he do is startled by something that falls on his lap. He looks down and saw Areum on it.

"Yah!! What are you doing!?" He yells.

She didn't answer. Taehyung frowns and keeps poking her shoulder. But no response. He looks at her face and saw she fainted.

Her breaths become heavy and he can see that.

"Hey, are you okay?" His hands accidentally touch hers and are shocked by the coldness.

She so...cold.

Taehyung checks her temperature and found that she fever.
"She has a fever!!"

He groaning and becomes panicky. Tarhyung looks around just in case he saw someone. Sadly, no one.

"Ah shit." He takes off his jacket and puts on her. Then, he picks her up and walks away.

I hope the others are around here.

Yoongi just looking around, alone by himself. He sick of them fighting like a kid. He admits that he can't accept Aer into their family.

But, something makes him curious about her. Something in that girl making him want to get to know her.

Suddenly- he saw a familiar figure. Yoongi narrows his eyes and it was Taehyung carrying Aera in his arms. Without wasting his time, he walks towards them.

"Tae-"

"Hyung!!" Taehyung was surprised to see him there.

"What's wrong-" He is cut off again.

"Aera faints. She has a fever." Taehyung said.

"What? She seems fine before this." He puts his hand on her forehead and feels the heat.

"Probably because of this weather," Taehyung said.

Yoongi took out his phone and called Jin, "Yoongi!! Where are you!?" Jin yells as soon as he picks up.

"I found them." He simply answers.

"What? Aera and Tae!?" Jin asks. He just hummed.

"Tell us where you and don't move," Jin said in a stern voice.

"Better hurry because Aera faints." When Yoongi says that, he hangs up. So, Yoongi takes that as he panics.

Aera feels the soft mattress under her. She feels her body hot and tired. She opens her eyes and found a dim light.

She looks around and found out she in her hotel room. She about to get up but a voice stops her.

"Don't move. You still weak." Jin walks in with a bag of plastic.

"What happened?" Aera asks weakly.

You know how bad fever feels like right? Where you even couldn't move your body freely and feel the heat and headache.

"You fainted." He takes a seat while taking out some food from the plastic. "Next time, wear thick jackets and hand gloves."

Jin looks angry but manages to calm himself down.
"I'm sorry..." Aera looks down.

There's just silence. More like tense silence. Suddenly, Aera remember she fainted-

"Wait. Did they...saw...m-my face?" She asks.

"Don't worried. They didn't. Yoongi about to take off his mask but I told him not to." He answers.

He about to feed her with porridge but Aera held her hand up.

"I don't have an appetite." She speaks.

"That just because of your fever. Now, eat." He insisted.

"No, Jin. I don't want" Aera cutting off by him.

"EAT. Aera." Jin glares at him with a stern voice.

With that, she shut her mouth. His angry side is so scary. So, Aera just obeys and lets him feed her. If she insisted he feed her, she afraid Jin might yells or something.

"Why you have a fever out of a sudden? You look fine before this." Jin spokes.

"Maybe because of the weather." She answers.

"Tell me or anyone that you feel cold or uneasy," Jin said.

"Like they will care. It not that I care also whether they did or not." Aera states while looks away.

Jin who heard it, sighs. He knows what she felt and it hard for her to live with them.

"Aera." He holds her hand and it makes Aera stunned by his act. "I know it hard to live with us but we have...trust issues. Even I am. But, when I met you, I think...you are...same as us."

"But, because of my brothers, you must feel hard. Can you only trust me if you feel this is too hard for you?" Jin's eyes showing sincerity and pleaded.

Why does he act like this? Should I...give a chance to trust him?

"I..." Aera closed her eyes and take a deep breath before letting it out. "Maybe...if I try."

Jin's eyes sparkling in happiness. He smiles brightly, "Thank you, Aera!!"

She looks away and without her notice, a small smile appeared on her face.

Someone knocking on the door. Aera covers her face with her hair. The door open reveals Namjoon.

"Hey, Joon. What's up?" Jin speaks as he feeding Aera.

"Jungkook snoring irritating me. I even can't read my book peacefully." He complaining.

"Poor you." Jin chuckling.

He just rolled his eyes. Then, he saw Jin feeding Aera who just looking down. Before he could feed her one more time, Namjoon walks toward him and hold his wrist.

Jin looking at him with confusion so do Aera.
"What's wrong?" He asks.

He just stares at him with a blank face then speaks, "Don't you said you want to help Yoongi unpack?"

"Oh yeah. I forgot. I can't let him do it by himself. He will just throw his clothes anywhere." Jin said and gets up.

"Aera, finish your porridge. I will come back later. Namjoon, take care of her." He said before went out.

Now, there are only two of them in this room.
