Chapter 15 - Mesmerized

SPLASH!!!

Aera woke up by the sounds of broken glass. She grabs her mask and rushes downstairs just in case someone barge into their house.

She looks around the living room and nothing. She goes to the kitchen and found Namjoon kneeling while picking up the broken glass.

"Are you okay?" She spokes. Namjoon lifted her gaze.

"Am I waking you up?" He asks, ignoring her question.

"K-Kind of. What happened?" Aera walks closer to her.

"I just about to make breakfast for me but I accidentally drop the bowl," Namjoon explains.

Aera looks at the broken bowl and back to him. He seems to notice it. "I know Jin didn't let me. Just keep this secret."

"Don't worried. He's a deep sleeper. If he didn't, then he already rushing down here." Aera responds while knee down, helping him.

"You don't need to. I don't need your help. Just go and do your things." Namjoon pushes her hands away.

But, she declined it. She just ignores Namjoon words and helps him. "You are stubborn. No wondered why my brothers hate you." He speaks.

"If you talking about this, how about you go sit and I'll make breakfast for you. I promise I wouldn't tell Jin about this. Deal?" Area asks.

Namjoon stares at her first and nods. He gets up and goes sit. Area sigh and clean up the mess before making breakfast.

She taking out the cereal and new bowl, as she turns around, she saw Namjoon reading a book. She always saw him with the book. She starts to think that Namjoon who's a nerd.

"You never bored, aren't you?" Aera starts a conversation.

"Bored with what?" He asks but still focuses on his book.

"With a book. I always saw you reading." She said.

"It was my hobby. Mind your own business." He snaps.

Aera didn't respond to do anything. After the done, she pushes the bowl that full of cereal to him. And warm milk.

"Does everyone eat the same thing?" Aera asks.

"Some of them eating pancake or heavy meals." He answers.

"Should I cook for them?" She mutters. Namjoon can hear it. He looks at her with undescribed emotion.

He watches every movement of her. She prepared the ingredients and cutting and cooking. Until he ain't realize that he was staring at her since earlier and forget about his book.

The aroma of her cooking filled his nose and probably make the others wake up soon.

Smell like...mother's cooking.

The atmosphere is silent. Only sounds of her cooking and her humming sound voice.

"Who is cooking!!??" Jin's voice echo in the house.

A sound of footsteps rushing downstairs and straight to the kitchen. Aera turns around and saw Jin with the others. They look like waking up with messy hair and barely eyes open.

"A-Aera?" Jin spokes.

"Just sit there. I almost finish." She turns to her cooking back.

"I thought someone else is cooking!! If it was her, I wouldn't eat it!! Who knows!? She might put poison in it." Jungkook said in a harsh tone.

"Kook, don't be too harsh." Hoseok scolds him.

"What if it was true?" Taehyung agreed with Jungkook.

"I don't care. I want to eat. It smells so tasty." Yoongi said and sits beside Namjoon who's mesmerized by Aera.

"Hyung!!! You never eat someone else food except Jin Hyung food!!" Jimin raises his voice.

"So what? What's wrong with it? If you guys didn't want to eat it, then go back to your room." He said and rolls his eyes.

Everyone was shocked by his attitude. Yoongi never eats someone else food other than Jin since their parents died. It was...so rare.

"Yoongi was right. If you don't want then don't make a fuss here." Jin did and take a sit.

"No." Aera spokes. The boys look at her with surprise. "Take a seat. You guys will be starving if you don't eat just because of me. At least eat it for your health." She continues but didn't turn her back.

They exchange looks. "Don't worried about us, Aera," Hoseok said with a bright tone.

Jimin didn't say anything but just sits and take out his phone. Taehyung and Jungkook finally gave up and take a seat. Hate to admit it but Aera was right.

Eat for their health.

Aera puts down the dishes and the boys are mesmerized by the delicious smell. It was  She sits down and starts to eat after giving everyone their rice bowl.

"You guys wouldn't eat it?" She asks.

"We wait for you first to eat it," Jungkook said.

Aera stares at him then shirts her shoulder. "It up to you guys." She take-off her mask and eat as nothing happened.

Her scar didn't obvious since her hair covers her face. Yoongi chuckles and grabs his food.

"Burn." He mutters.

Jungkook scoffs and just eats his food with pissed. When he eats it, his eyes slightly widen. The taste is so delicious, it hard for him to describe it.

"Mmm, it so tasty, Aera!!" Jin praises her.

"Thank you." She responds.

"Tasty then your cooking," Hoseok smirks at him.

"Before I hit you with my frying pan, better shut up." Jin glares at him. He just laughs at Jin's pissed face.

Namjoon eating while keeps glancing at her. The first thing he learns about Aera is her heart.

"Anyway, did you broke something this morning?" Jin asks.

"What you mean?" Aera asks.

"I'm sure that I heard something fall on the ground." He continues. "It not you, right Namjoon?" Jin narrows his eyes on him.

"I..." Namjoon gulps and thinks about what to say.

"Why are you targeting him? It not him. You probably dreaming, Jin." Aera helps him.

"Really? But it sounds so real." He states.

"Everything is real to you including your dream," Yoongi said in annoyance.

"Hello. Of course, it is. I dream about my face and being worldwide handsome. And guess what? I AM WORLDWIDE HANDSOME!!!" He yells and gives Yoongi a flying kiss.

Yoongi shakes his head and just eat.

Namjoon looks at Aera and their eyes met. She mouthed 'deal is a deal' at him. He chuckles and smirks at her.
