Chapter 16 - Vacation To Paris!?

"EVERYONE!!!!!" Jin yells from downstairs.

The others rush downstairs while Aera came out from the kitchen, walking as nothing happens.

"What!? What happened!?" Jimin yells.

"Is house on fire!? Or worse!! Is our wifi being cut!?" Hoseok yells in panic.

"Nope. Plus, if the house on fire, none other than Namjoon we blame of." Jin said.

Namjoon rolls his eyes. "Then, why you yelling Jin?"

"Guess what?" He asks with a big smile on his face.

"What?" Yoongi raises his eyebrows.

"Mom and Dad call me just now and tell me they are doing great with their honeymoon. I feel happy-"

"Can you straight to the point?" Yoongi groaning in annoyance.

"Fine. Our parents book a flight for us to...PARIS!!!!!!" He yells.

"WHAT!?"

"Yah!! Are you joking right now, Hyung!?" Jungkook snatches the ticket from his hand.

"First, don't rude to the eldest, Kook. Second, no. I didn't." Jin pats his head.

"No way!! It true!!" Jungkook said.

"Only us?" Jimin asks.

"Yup. I'm in charge. So, ALL of you, listen to me. I don't want we have a problem there." Jin glares at them.

"When we going?" Taehyung asks.

"Tonight. So, we have to pack right now. We will be off at...11 pm. That's means, we have to go to the airport early like...9 am? Or 8." He said.

They nod in agreed. Aera just turns her back and walks away. She doesn't want to follow them since...she is not interested in it.

Before her footsteps on the stairs, Hoseok voice stops her. "I hope you are going to pack your stuff, Aera." He said.

"No. I'm not. You guys can go and have fun." She said.

"Aera. They said all of us. That means you are involved." Jin speaks gently.

"I don't know, Jin. I feel like...I don't want to join." Aera looks down.

"Aera, please. Maybe this vacation can help us get to know each other." He convincing her.

"Let her be, Hyung. If she doesn't be with us, I feel happier and relieved." Jungkook snaps.

"Jungkook!!" Hoseok scolds him.

"What? It true though." Jungkook shrugs his shoulder.

"I agreed with Jungkook." Taehyung spokes. Jimin also nods.

"She doesn't deserve this vacation," Jimin speaks.

"Can three of you stop?" Jin scolds them.

"Aera, you want to join or not?" Namjoon asks. They look at him with surprise.

Aera hung her head low. She continues walking, "Have fun."

The door shut close being heard. Jin let out a heavy sigh and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"See what have you done!? Why you guys hate her so much!?" Jin yells.

"Hyung, why you so care about her? Let her be. Don't you see what she answer to Namjoon?" Jungkook exclaims.

"That because of your dirty mouth, Jungkook!! All three of you!!" He said while pointing at them.

"Just stop fighting. I will talk to her." Hoseok speaks and went upstairs.

She drawing something on her diary sketchbook while listening to her song. It not that she doesn't want to join, she just...she knows it wouldn't be fun if their relationship like this.

"Knock knock?"

Aera takes off her Airpods when heard someone voice outside the door. She pulls her mask back.

"Who is it?" Aera asks.

"Guess who?"

"Hoseok. You know that I know it was you right?" She sighs.

The door. open and reveals Hoseok smiles sheepishly. "Hehehe. Sorry. I just want to joke with you."

"Well, I appreciate that. What do you want?" She focuses on her drawing back.

"Aera did take seriously about what my brothers talk about you?" He sits on the bed with me.

"Why should I?"

"What you mean by that?" Hoseok raises his eyebrows.

"I mean...why should I take it seriously? I know they didn't like me. Especially Jungkook and Taehyung." Aera said.

"Oh. Umm...how about Jimin, Namjoon, and Yoongi?" He asks.

"They look okay." She shrugs her shoulders.

"Okay. If that so...can you please join this vacation?" He pleaded. His eyes looking at her with pouts.

"I don't know why you and Jin want me to join. I don't get it." Aera frowns.

Hoseok looks away, "I want to have fun with you. You seem like...a good person. From the first time I saw you, I know there's something inside you."

"Besides, I understand why you being cold to us. There must be something that locks your true self and is scared if something same happened again. Right?" He asks.

She looks down and grips her pencil tightly. He's not wrong though. If it not because of her father, she wouldn't be like this.

She hates it.

She did.

"And you force yourself to be someone cold and that's not you. You have to stop that and let your heart take over you just...once in a while." Hoseok smiles and pats her head.

Aera eyes slightly widen when she feels a touch from Hoseok. He stroking her hair with the warm smile on his face, making her heart beat like... fast.

"Trust me. This vacation might change...all of us. Can you give a chance for this?" He asks.

She stares at him and sighs. "Fine. I will join."

"YES!!!" Hoseok hugs her and her body stiff. "Thank you so much, Aera!! I'm so happy when you join us!!" He laughs. He broke the hugs and ruffles her hair before went out.

Hoseok closes the door, turns his back, and lets out a heavy sigh. He can feel his face getting hot.

"Why did you hug her, Hoseok?" He mutters. "Gosh, it comes naturally!!" He smacks his head and walks away.

A little bit he knows, it the first step for him to fall for her.
