Chapter 3

(Andrew p.o.v)

-Agent Topaz was on high alert looking out the windows-

-We drive through the empty streets looking around frantically-

-But every so often I glance at Veronica.., my heart pounded in my chest-

"Should I tell her?" -I think biting my tongue-

-But that thought quickly leaves as we pull over to the side of the road-

Agent Topaz:"The creature was spotted here" -The Agent says getting out-

-We step out looking around carefully-

-One soldier clad in armour followed Agent Topaz from behind-

Andrew:"Where ever it is.., looks like it might be long gone" -I mutter out in annoyance-

*SMASH*

-The sound of a bin being knocked over fills our ears-

-All four of us spin on aiming at the dark alleyway-

Agent Topaz:"NightMore genesis company come out with your hands up!" -The panther screams-

-Suddenly a paw shoots out from behind cover-

???:"Wait!" -A male voice screams-

-We all keep our weapons trained on the trash can, slowly a set of perky ears rise from the bin-

Agent Topaz:"Who are you?" -The Agent screams-

???:"B-Blake!, my name is Blake!, I made the call" -The wolf screams with fear-

-We all lower our weapons-

Agent Topaz:"Alright..., come on out" -The panther says with a scowl-

-The younger looking Wolf Fur walks out nervously stepping over some trash-

Agent Topaz:"The hell you doing in that trash can son?" -Topaz growls out-

Blake:"That creature from the news!, it was here!" -The wolf exclaims-

Agent Topaz:"Where" -He said firmly-

Blake:"Over there!, I was just passing while on my holo phone!, next thing the alien is standing right beside me!" -He says pointing at a Holo TV shop-

-Me and Veronica slowly walk over-

-I notice Veronica play with her glasses-

-She scans in silence as the Agent talks with the Kid-

Veronica:"Theres a hand print of the window" -Veronica suddenly says-

Andrew:"Anything else?" -I ask folding my arms-

-She looks at the floor her eye scanner moving about-

Veronica:"Boot prints heading this way" -She said pointing down the alley-

Andrew:"Damn maybe I should get one of those eye Holo visor" -I say with a chuckle-

-She smiles at me warmly-

Veronica:"Hell I'll buy one for you if it will help us catch this creature faster" -She says-

-We stare at each other silently for a moment-
