Vigilante Of Inkopolis (On hold)

Chapter Two: New world

(After your alarm rings) Y/N: Time to start the day as the last human alive. Might as well have some coffee and bread I found in the MREs for breakfast. While my water is boiling I'm going to check on a few things. 

Computer: Y/N I found something you should see.

Y/N: (while eating breakfast) What is it ? 

Computer: I found a city forty minutes away from here, and I was able to pick a recording.  Would you like to hear it? 

Y/N: Of course play it. 

Computer: Playing recording.....

Y/N: Hmmmm.... even if that is a new language I don't think it's human. Computer can you help me make a translator with ear piece to translate what they're saying and a small special mic so I sound like I'm speaking their language when I'm not. 

Computer: Of course, Y/N.

(after finishing breakfast) Y/N: This bread sure was shitty. I wish I had some freshly baked pan dulce with this coffee instead. ( Yes I speak Spanish to.)  Maybe I should start a garden already I found some seeds and tools so yea I'll start. 

Computer: Y/N maybe you should check that city tonight. Just wear all black clothing. They might accept you into their society.

Y/N: MIGHT computer I don't think they're going to be happy about a human being in their city, heck to them I might be a living fossil. I'll check out that city in a few nights but I not going to risk being seen. Until then I'll start my garden.  

(After exiting the bunker) Y/N: Finally fresh air and some sunlight. Alright time to start working. ( hours later) I'll start putting the seeds in and get some water from the river near by and that's should be it for today. Time for a cold beer. 

Later that night in Inkopolis 

Callie: Hey Marie, ready to go to Pearl's place to watch that video? I'll start the car. 

Marie: Alright Callie, I'm coming. Let me just bring some extra snacks you know how Pearl gets with her snacks.

Callie: I don't need to be reminded. 

( Both having flashback) 

Agent 4: Pearl can I have some snacks. ( while reaching for her snacks) 

Pearl: Does this answer your question ( Kicks agent 4 in the crotch so hard the whole mansion hears it)

Agent 4: ( almost crying in pain) You could've just said no. 

Pearl: Here's an icepack. Just don't forget what will happen again if you ask. 

( Back to the present)

Callie: Even I felt that. 

( Yes the kick was that hard.) 

Marie: Alright I've got everything let's go. 

( both get in the car and start driving) 

( 15 minutes later at Pearl's mansion) 

Pearl: You two are here earlier than I expected. Let me guess, Callie rushed you for this? 

Marie: You can say it that way.

Callie: Where is Marina ? 

Pearl: Setting everything up. She said the video is pretty sad, but it has a important message. 

Callie: Is that why she wanted to keep this private from the city? 

Pearl: Yes. Anyway I think it's ready now.

Marina: As it turns out humans were just as intelligent as us if not than more, and the great flooding isn't the only thing that wiped them out. Just watch the video. 

( Video starts playing) ( The video after WW3 and the great flooding.)( The soldier is in the video.) 

Soldier: If you're watching this I'm dead, and so is the rest of humanity. Let me start from the beginning. The war stared over some territorial dispute and let me tell you this war was nothing the Earth has ever seen before.

Callie: Even worse than The Great Turf war?

Soldier: In just 7 years over 80% of humanity has died from this war. While my country won the war there is nothing to gain most of the land has been destroyed, and there isn't enough of us to repair the damage caused by the war. If that wasn't enough rising sea levels is making things more difficult for us, heck people are still fighting over just small amount of resources we have left. So please if you are a different species please don't make the same mistakes humanity made. That's all I have to say I'm one last few alive there is no more hope for us. I'm signing off goodbye. ( video ends) 

( Everyone almost in tears) 

Marina: As it turns out this "ww3" is wiped them out, the flood just finished the rest.

(While Callie was crying) Marie: There Callie I know it's sad but remember he said not to make the same mistakes as his species. 

Callie: I know but why did it have that way, they couldn't just solve without war. I wish there at least one human left.

Marina: Sadly Pearl and I will have to show the city soon either way, but until then keep private. 

Everyone: Alright. 

Marie: Let's go home, Callie. You need some sleep. 

( Back to you)

Y/N: I've just finished working on garden. In two nights I will head out to this city minutes away from here. You know I'm pretty amazed no one has discovered my bunker, but then again it's mostly forest where I live and the main entrance is well camouflaged so it makes sense. 

Computer: Y/N the translator is almost complete. Would you like to test it ? 

Y/N: Sure, but I have no one to communicate with. Any plans ? 

Computer: I can mimic the language. Changing language...... (speaking in inkling) 

Y/N: Ok, let me put them on ( puts on translator) translator power on. 

Computer: (in inkling)  Can you understand me now ? 

Y/N: Yes. They work perfectly and it's just a earpiece and very small mic. 

Computer:(in inkling) Good to hear. Changing language to English.

Y/N: ( after turning off translator) Alright now I should be able to head out in two nights.

Computer: Y/N, have you decided what to wear for that night ? 

Y/N: Yes, I'll wear the black hoodie, black jeans, the ski mask, the bandana, and the combat boots. 

Computer: And weapons ? 

Y/N: I'll take my bow and arrows I don't my uzis won't be necessary, plus I need to save ammo. I'll also take my butterfly knife just in case but I doubt I'll need to use them. I'm just going to observe not interact. 

Computer: Ok, Just be careful. 

Y/N: Of course I will, but until then time to get ready. 

( chapter two down, In case you're wondering how the translator works the earpiece would translate the inkling and octoling language, while the mic would translate English into their, making it easier to communicate. I already have the more exciting stuff planned for the next chapters, and expect some changes. Until then bye.)
