Chapter Twelve: New Plans

*One morning while Pearl and Marina were getting ready to start to their day, Marina notices something strange going on.* 

Marina: Hey Pearl, I'm getting a strange signal from my laptop. I don't what it is but we need to tell everyone. 

Pearl: Hmmm, try to figure out where it's coming from. It could be another cryogen pod signal Y/N told us about. Best we don't tell Y/N yet I don't want to get his hopes up and then false alarm last minute. Let your laptop find the location, we got a lot of stuff announce today. Remember that gang that squidnapped Callie. 

Marina: Yes, I know their crime activities have been increasing some time after Y/N saved her, in fact I feel like they're trying to his attention or something. 

*Meanwhile with Sam, Jacob, and Bridget. They were just having breakfast at a restaurant.* 

Sam: So what's new guys? 

Jacob: I've been trying to win turf wars but the other team keeps beating my team, and I've got bills to pay and I'm not earning enough. Don't get me started on the other team they're douchebags they keep bragging about their victories and keep bringing up something about winning a date with Off the Hook, or Squid Sisters. They're the worst, and I amazed they are even well liked and...

Sam: Ok, ok you hate those guys. Yea I know there is always kinds of inklings. I remember this one time where this team beat another team that was all girls, once they left the stadium the guys from the winning team kept yelling perverted stuff at them of course I stepped in and beat them up it was just three of them. Let me tell you they went running with tears coming out their eyes. 

Jacob: Oh, when was that? Now that I think it's pretty funny. 

Sam: Years ago I just finished my training with the squid beak splatoon, it was two days before I started my first mission. How about you Bridget? 

Bridget: I've been having a lot a fun actually, and most teams I compete with and against are usually fair and polite. I haven't had any issues with teams like you guys do. 

Sam: Sounds good.(Thinking) Well Pearl and Marina do select her team mates and opponents before she competes so it make sense. 

Jacob: Have you guys been hearing about the increased crime rates going on? 

Sam: Yea, they've been happening sometime after Y/N saved Callie, I feel like they are planning something to catch or kill Y/N. I mean think about it he got involved with their business, and you know how they get plus he also made them lose a lot of money so there's that. 

Bridget: At least nothing serious happened yet, right? 

Jacob: True, it mostly just burglaries, theft, and other forms of stealing. I guess they're trying recover their lost money, now I'm worried about how long until something more serious does happen. 

*Meanwhile at your bunker.* 

Y/N: I wish the cake was bigger I'm almost done with it and I don't feel having like MRE for a while. Anyways computer what has been happening lately I know I just dealt with Octavio, but I feel like nothing has stayed the same. 

CPU: There has been a increase in crime rate ever since you rescued Callie from the gang. Allow me to show you. 

*After you see the footage and what Off the Hook just covered you began to wonder if you should get involved and stop them.* 

Y/N: A part is telling me to stop them, but another is telling me that could have something planned for me like a trap or ambush. (Drinking water.) I'll ask the agents if they know anything I can't get too careless. Now that think about it I'm not sure if it's a good idea to introduce myself to Inkopolis yet, I know promised Jacob and Callie but there is too much risk with that gang still around. I know a fact I'll be semi-famous once I introduce myself, and with that gang they see a lot of ransom money. I'll think about it more.
