Chapter Eight: Modifications

Cap. Cuttlefish: We need you to fight Octavio .

Y/N: What? 

Cap. Cuttlefish: You know what I said. Octavio has been giving us problems since he escaped a few months ago, but he won't be expecting you to fight him. 

Y/N: Hmm, ok I can do that but I need to know what I'm dealing with here. Like I said he be considered a warlord if humans were still around.

Everyone(minus Jacob): A what? 

*Time skip you explain what a warlord is.*

Marie: That does make sense. 

Sam: Yup.

Y/N: Ok, so how does he fight? How did you guys stop him? And what is he using? I might need some time to prepare myself. 

Marina: Here some videos of how Sam and Jacob fought him. 

*Note I used both boss fights from splatoon one and two.*

Y/N: Ok I'll need more than a few days to prepare from what I saw in those videos.(Thinking) Callie's a pretty good singer I should see one of their concerts when I have time.

Sam: Believe me he isn't that hard to deal with. I did it by myself. Jacob did it with some help but that's just to help Callie. 

Y/N: I saw that but I am going to need some different equipment to fight with less risk. Not sure if you know but broken bones can take weeks to months to heal, or if unlucky years or they won't heal at all.  

Sam: I see your point but we seen you fight before so it wouldn't be much of challenge for you. Plus we'll be near by if something happens. 

Y/N: Ok, anything else I need to know? 

Jacob: We had to get through all his troops and from what I can tell most of them are brain washed with some goggles. So Y/N, can you try not to kill them please most are fighting without knowing. 

Y/N: That's why I'll need more time to prepare, I'll think of some new weapons so I can decrease the chance of that. However if they force my hand, they forced my hand. 

Jacob: Ok. Hey Y/N so are you going with the disguise right?

Y/N: Yes, I can't go as myself. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become something else.(While holding mask.) (Yes, this a green arrow reference so credit goes to DC Comics.) 

Marie: Wow now that's deep, but why stay hidden? 

Y/N: Because I'll be in danger if they know my identity. If the octarians are as dangerous as you say they are and they capture me while I'm vulnerable then it's going to be hard to stop them for sure. 

Sam:(thinking) This is why I'm not going to trust him.(talking) Y/N, what are going to do to prepare yourself? 

Y/N: I'll have to make some modifications to my stuff. Seeing you can squidform and jump high. I can't do neither of those. Until then just give me time to train and prepare myself. Also why is he trying to start a war?
