When the sun began to show through the curtains, they woke up and decided to get ready for the day, Draco was in the bathroom, he was looking at his arm, he wished that there was a way to cover the hideous mark, the one that haunts him every day, that doesn't allow him to be normal, one that prevented him from being with the one he loved

He put on the forearm cover and walked out of the bathroom, Hermione was standing in front of the mirror, she was wearing a periwinkle sundress, her hair was in a half-up, half-down style and she was putting on a pair of earrings

"Who are you getting ready for?" Draco asked

Hermione turned to him and grabbed her forearm cover and covered her scar, Draco glanced at it and felt as if he was going to throw up, he still hated himself for standing there, not doing anything while his crazy aunt tortured Hermione

"So where do we start?" Draco asked her

"Breakfast," Hermione said

They walked out and Hermione was looking through the Windows

"My contact said that this was last where your parents were seen," Draco told her

"How long ago was this?" Hermione asked

"Probably two or three weeks ago," Draco said

Hermione nodded

"They are doing a turn of America, they've already visited Washington, New York, Colorado, Florida..." Hermione continued, trailing off when she saw something in the mirror she liked

"What is it, Granger?" Draco asked

"M-My mom used to have a necklace like that, she lost in a fire we had a few years ago," Hermione told him

Draco grabbed her hand and dragged her into the shop

"Welcome to 'Pretty Passion Antiques' how may I help you?" An older lady said and came to the two teens

"That necklace at the window, how much?" Draco asked her

"Draco" Hermione whispered, trying to drag him away

"Fifty dollars, would you like me to pack it up?" The lady asked

Hermione opened her mouth to protest but Draco interrupted

"Yes please"

Hermione was glaring at Draco who was ignoring her and pretending to look at a lamp

"take a picture, it'll last longer," he said, smirking but not looking at her

"You are an insufferable prat" she hissed, Draco looked at her and raised an eyebrow

"I thought I was a 'foul loathsome evil little cockroach'?" he asked, Hermione gave him an unamused glare causing him to laugh and kiss her forehead

"Come off it Granger, it was nothing" Draco mumbled, still not pulling away

"You're so bloody annoying," She said, although she was fighting a smile, the lady came back and Draco pulled away

"Here you go love," she said and gave him a small package

"Thank you," Draco said and led Hermione out, they continued walking and enjoying the sun, they never got the sun in London, they were also discussing their parent's location, Draco's contact had been trying to find them but the last place that they were seen was in Florida

"Let's go to the beach," Draco said, he's never been there and always wondered, Hermione was that he was practically jumping up and down, Hermione laughed and led him to the beach, they found a spot and put down their stuff, Hermione removed the sundress and showed off her two-piece, it was a white floral bikini with a rose gold clip in between her breast, it was 'modestly sexy' as she liked to call it, she looked at Draco who was looking at her like he wanted to eat her, she felt her body blush, no one ever made her feel this giddy, she knew that no one would ever make her feel this giddy, this was it for her, he was it, even if she knew that there was a high possibility that when they went back to the real world, it could be ruined
