Un-break my heart
Say you'll love me again
Undo this hurt you caused
When you walked out the door
And walked out of my life
Un-cry these tears
I cried so many nights
Un-break my heart, oh, ooh
Ooh

It was the next day and also the day of the game against Phillips and his team.

Annie woke up normally as if nothing had changed even though she was slightly nervous. It was her first real baseball game so of course she would have some nerves.

She wore simple jeans, a white short sleeved shirt and green running shoes since she would have to run some.

Soon enough both teams were at Phillips field and Phillips team was batting first while Ham was the catcher.

"Play ball!" Ham yelled before getting in his position.

"Hurry up batter. It's gonna be a short game, and I gotta get home for lunch." Ham said distracting the batter as he had done to Annie when the first met.

"Haha! That's one."

"You know, if I had a dog as ugly as you, I'd shave his butt and tell him to walk backwards." Ham said to the other batter making Annie laugh as she heard his insult.

"The heater. Here it comes. I dare you." He stated and before the boy swung he called the strike. "Strike three your out." And he missed.

"Hey, is that your sister out there in left field, naked? She's naked." Ham said.

"Shut up Porter!" Phillips yelled to Ham.

"Hey, hey, hey. I'm just trying to have a little friendly conversation. Come on. You think she'd go out with me?"

And then it was time for the Sandlot team to bat. Ham was first.

"Come on, show me your stuff." He said swinging the bat.

Ham swung that bat and the ball went flying into the air.

The same happened with Bertram, DeNunez, Squints, Scotty, Yeah-Yeah, Tommy, and Timmy.

They all slide into home base before the other team could get them out.

It was Annie's turn before Benny had his go and Annie was nervous with her palms sweating.

"You can do this Annie." Scotty said to his older sister before she nodded and walked to home plate with the bat in her hand.

Phillips team laughed as they saw her walk to the plate.

"Sure you're in the right place princess?!" Someone yelled making Annie frown.

"Yeah! Are you?!" She yelled back with an innocent smile as the sandlot boys laughed at her comeback.

Annie held the bat up ready for the ball to be thrown so she could hit it but the pitcher decided to say something before throwing the ball.
