Magnus' POV:
"Witch! He is a witch!"

"Andalasia, I'm not a witch. I'm just knowledgeable " I said and she chuckled. Nowadays, people think that intelligent people are witches because the intellectual capacity of said people are higher than most of the people.

"I'm just joking. I know you are not a witch" she said and I smiled awkwardly before walking away from her stall

When I walked out of the market, knights approached me. When they stopped in front of me, I started sweating and I was getting nervous. I haven't told anyone that I'm a witch so no one would've known right?

"Have you seen any suspicious activity around here?" They finally asked and I sighed in relief

"Nothing" I said immediately and they nodded before entering the market. "Those men are scary" I muttered and walked inside the forest towards my hut. "I'm back" I said to my dog, Aslan. "Did you miss me? Did you miss me?" I cooed and he rubbed his body on my legs. I placed my food on the shelf and grabbed my wand. "The forest has bald spots. Let's protect the forest shall we" I said and we went out of the hut to heal the forest. After a lot of walking, we saw the bald spot of the forest where trees were cut down and burned. I sighed and waved my wand. I chanted over and over again until the ground beneath us rumbled and the tree stumps started growing into a full tree

"Who's there?!" A deep voice yelled and I gasped and put my hood on. "Witch! There's a witch!" They yelled

"Aslan run" I said and Aslan ran ahead of me while I casted spells to slow them down. We ran until we arrived at our hut safely. I closed all my windows and my door and peeked through the window to watch the people as they search the area around my hut. A guard turned his head towards my hut and I immediately hid.

"What about that hut?" The guard asked their leader

"A boy is living there alone. Don't bother him" their leader said and I thanked him in my head

"The witch isn't here sir"

"Then let's move forward" he said and they walked away. Once they were gone, I opened my windows once more and sighed.

"They should be thankful. If I hadn't done that spell, the whole town would've been covered completely by a landslip" I said

"Magnus!" I heard a familiar voice and I opened my door

"Gaspar" I said and he went inside my little house. He kissed my forehead and I smiled

I love this man. And he loves me. He's a vendor in the market and lives in a small place in the town. He doesn't know I'm a witch but I don't want to keep secrets from him anymore so I will tell him tomorrow.

"I passed by the guards and overheard them talking about a witch. Magnus, I want you to be careful okay?" He said and I sighed and nodded. "Why don't you live with me in town?"

"I've been at your place Gaspar and I assure you we wouldn't fit" I said while Aslan climbed onto Gaspar's lap and Gaspar scratched Aslan's ear

"Then I'll find a place that can fit us including him" he said and motioned to Aslan

"I appreciate it Gaspar, I really do but you're already struggling to pay off your rent and a bigger place will be more expensive. I don't go to work, I just take some small jobs to earn money and that money is just enough for me and Aslan so I can't really help you pay" I said

"I'll work hard then so I can earn enough money for us" he said

"Please don't. You're already working so hard. I don't want you to exhaust yourself just for me" I said and he sighed. "I'm fine here Gaspar. Aslan is here to protect me" I said
