Unexpected Love

Chapter 10.

It was the next morning after Mine and Severus' little argument. I've been thinking about us a lot, thinking about what he said last night and the consequences of being caught which would not be good at all. Maybe I should distance myself from him although it would be difficult for me to do so as I was so drawn in by him. I didn't want to a rise suspicion by being near Snape all the time. Cora noticed me disappearing a few times and I didn't want her getting wary.

For the whole morning I didn't look at him or go near him, it was rather difficult. I could feel him Staring at me with his deep Onyx eyes, why was he still looking at me after what he said last night, he stated how he wanted to end this. As much as I wanted to look at him I fought the urge to do so. For the next few hours I managed to keep my distance.

But then we had potions.

I was waiting outside potions with Cora When we heard footsteps behind the door. Snape stood in the door way, looking angry.

"IN"He shouted.

We all scurried into the classroom and quickly took our seats. Severus Looked Drained and seemed more agitated then he usually does.

"You will all be doing textbook work. Now get on with it" he said waving his wand as the books floated over to each table and making a loud thud when dropped on our desks.

A Slytherin Girl dropped her quill on the floor and he immediately started shouting at her to get on with work and stop messing around in the lesson. It wasn't like Severus to shout at something small like that and especially say it to a Slytherin student.

'What is the matter with him.' I thought to myself. Then his eyes darted over to me his eyes filled with what seemed to be rage. Dam it I forgot he could read my mind. I looked away.

"Hey Celia why is he in a worse mood then usual" Cora whispered.

"How should I know"I shrugged knowing full well it will have something to do with me.

"Well you are with him a lot so I thought you might know something" She nudged me.

"Cora will you shut it, I don't know why and I don't care" I tried to make it sound believable

"It was just a question, keep your hair on" she rolled her eyes and lent back in her chair.

"I would appreciate it Miss Arden and Miss Malfoy if you both didn't talk in my class" Severus said sarcastically eyes darting between us.

"Yes Professor" Cora replied. I stayed silent.

"Miss Malfoy...Don't ignore me" he hissed I knew exactly what he was referring to but why does he even care after what he did. Using me then acting like it never happened!

"Sorry Professor" I looked down so no one would see my eyes becoming watery.

It was nearing the end of class and I slowly looked over to where Severus was sat. He was sat upright on his big brown leather chair Marking papers. I felt bad that I hadn't made an effort with him today but why should I.
He still looked so peaceful at his desk even when he had other things on his mind. 'I love the way he talks, in a Languid Tone. I could listen to him all day. The light illuminated his features making them stand out. He looked so hot. Stop it Celia.' I cursed to myself. But I was pulled from my thoughts.

"End of class. Leave" Severus said Waving everyone to get out.

"Miss Malfoy—"

I hurried out of the class before he could ask me to stay behind. I ran back to the Slytherin dormitories to study for a bit to keep my mind occupied from the current situation.

A while had passed and it was getting quite late.

"Wasn't you meant to be at detention tonight" Cora asked making her way up the stairs.

"Yes but I was too busy"

"Old git won't be happy with you Celia" she said vanishing up the stairs.

I didn't want to study any longer. In fact I decided to go for a walk through the castle and I wanted to desperately find Severus. I needed to see him to talk to him. There wouldn't be any students or professors out so this would be a good time to go. But I hoped Severus would be somewhere.

I was creeping through the corridors trying not to make much noise but it was quite hard to see where I was going and I didn't want to bump into anything.

"Lumos" I said in no more then a whisper.
My wand lit up everything around me. That's better now I can see.

"Will you put that light out"a painting on the wall said.

"Sorry" I lowered my wand a little and carried on though the castle.

I saw filch and Mrs Norris patrolling the corridors. Dam it why do they have to be here. I sneaked quickly down the hallway and luckily he didn't catch me.

I was getting closer towards the part of the dungeons which the potions classroom was located. Why was I even here, Severus wouldn't be here at this time and he doesn't want to speak to me so why I even decided to go I have no idea. When I was about to turn around, I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around and raised my wand only to illuminate the face of one potions Professor.
