Unexpected Love

Chapter 18.

"Severus"I mumbled trying to stay awake.

"Celia relax" Severus said in a soothing tone.

Severus brought me to his quarters which were inside the potions classroom. He placed me down on his bed. I felt very dizzy.

"Drink this" he said putting a mug in my hand.

"What's this" I murmured looking at the blood red liquid splashing around in the mug.

"It's a healing potion"
"Now drink" Severus said putting his hand over mine to direct the potion to my mouth.

I twitched as I drank the liquid, it tasted disgusting but made me feel a little better.

"Thank you" I smiled.

Severus came closer to me and took off his robe, he slowly draped it over me. His robe smelled exactly like him, it was soothing. Severus went of and got something from one of his cupboards And sat beside me.

He tilted my head towards him. Severus got some tissue and started to wipe away the blood from my forehead. He did it ever so slowly trying not to hurt me.

"Does this hurt" he questioned.

"A little" I said wincing in pain.

"I'm sorry" He mumbled still dabbing the cut.

"Sorry for what Severus" I asked puzzled.

"Sorry I didn't get there sooner"
"Why was you out"

"Severus don't be sorry. It was our fault We wanted to see the snow"

"I wish I was there quicker"
"And now your injured" He said his voice shaky.

"I will live, don't worry" I smiled.

After Severus had finished sorting out my wound. I leaned my head into the crook of his neck as He put his arm around me pulling me closer to him. He rested his head on mine.

"I don't know what I would do if I lost you Celia" He said quietly.

"Severus don't- Don't think like that"

"Sorry it's just.."He started but soon stopped mid sentence.

"You don't have to tell me sev, I don't want to push into your past" I told him moving closer.

"I once knew a girl..."
"You don't want to know this" he said removing his hand from around me. He brought it to the bridge of his nose.
I could see this was hard for him, he was trying to open up but it was difficult.

"You can tell me Severus" I took his hand and placed it into mine, I squeezed it.
"I will listen" I smiled softly.

He turned to me looking deep into my eyes he looked broken.

"I once knew a girl..Lily was her name"

"Did you love her" I asked

"I did but she got with that Swine James potter who bullied me at school" severus grumbled.

"Harry's father"I said to myself quietly
"That's why you hate Harry so much"
It was nice of Severus to tell me about his past even though it was difficult. He had such a bad childhood.

"Yes but I don't hate Harry"
"Only trying to protect him"Severus said bluntly.

"Protect him" I questioned looking puzzled.

"I may of said to much Celia"

"How do you mean protect him Severus"

"I am a double agent, Albus sends me to spy on the dark lord. I am not a Loyal death eater Celia" he said looking at me.
"You cannot tell a soul" he demanded.

"Oh Severus, I would never tell anyone but thank you for letting me know"
"When the dark lord recruits me, should I be a double agent to help you and dumbledore?"

"It s dangerous Celia, I will have to speak to Albus about this" he said sternly.

"Okay Severus"
"I'm scared"

"Don't be I will be there by your side and enough about the dark lord" he stated
"So about Lily what happened if you don't mind me asking" I said my voice shaking.

"I- I lost her, the dark lord. He -" Severus trembled turning away from me.

"Shh, It's okay Severus" I said wrapping my arm around him trying to bring him closer.
I have never seen him this vulnerable before it's a sight which is so heartbreaking.

"I need to let go of the past Celia, but this is why I'm afraid of losing you and why I was so distant because I didn't want to get attached but that is to late" Severus told me he looked back with water in his eyes but only faint.

"I will always be here sev no matter what" I whispered in his ear.

Severus pulled me into a tight warm hug, he rested his head into the crook of my neck. I engulfed him, he instantly calmed me.
I rubbed his back as he clung onto me. I was falling deeply in love with him. I hope severus was feeling the same.

Severus broke the hug and put his hands on my shoulders. He smiled softly and pecked my forehead.

"What time is it Sev" I asked peering up at him.

"Nearly time to go for dinner"

"I don't want to leave" I groaned falling back onto his bed.

"Oh really" he raised an eyebrow.

Severus hovered over me resting his weight onto his arms which were at each side of me. He came close to my face, I could feel his warm breath on my neck. Severus slowly put kisses along my neck then traced my jawline with his soft lips.

"Please" I begged him.

Severus smashed his lips against mine silencing me, he bit my lip with made me open my mouth. His tongue explored my mouth. The kiss was passionate and needy. His slipped his hand under my top squeezing my breast over my green laced bra making me squeal as his hands were cold.

"Celia" "as much" "as I want to" " stay here" "we need to go to dinner" he said with kisses in between the words.

"Ugh fine" I said dragging myself out of bed and away from the warmth that Severus provided.
I took of his robe and gave it back to him. I smelled slightly of the strong spiced cologne he wore. I didn't have time to change so I just hope no one will notice.

"I will see you at the manor tomorrow Celia"
"I hope you will enjoy your stay with us Severus"I winked.

"Hey guys sorry I'm a bit late" I announced as I sat down at the table.

"Did you get some good sleep Celia" Cora asked me.

"Yes, yes I did thank you" I replied smiling.

"You smell different"Taylah told me.
"Hm yes I smell it to"Cora added in.

"Oh just some spray that I stole from father"I responded quickly while nodding.

"You stole Lucius's cologne"Cora asked snorting.

"Yup I liked the smell"

I tried to move the convo on to something else by asking about all their Christmas plans which seemed much better then mine, at least they have a fun Christmas unlike my family. The only part of Christmas I really look forward to is the food and the odd present I get off some people.
Speaking of presents I need to get Severus something. 'Dammit how could I forget.'I slapped my face in annoyance. Maybe I could get him that cologne he always wears and a new potions book. I'm pretty sure they sell them at hogsMeade. I could go early tomorrow morning before we leave. 'Yes that's a good plan.' I told myself.
