OS 35: Blood Wars

You were sitting at the bench inside the dark tower where criminals where held in. Chained limbs, wrist, neck and covered mouth. Your head were leaning down, staring at your foot. You heard footsteps coming towards your cell, you turn your gaze up and saw the girl who used to treasure.

She was staring at you blankly. She was crossing her arms in her chest and she exhaled heavily and closes her eyes for a few seconds and open them.

"You look pitiful" She said

You just breathe

"Why did you killed my friend Hans?" She asked

You knew she was fuming with rage but you just breathe and kept looking at her.

"Why did you killed him?!!" Irene yelled

"Life always don't go the way we want" You spoke huskily

"What?!" Irene yelled

"It didn't go to my side. It throwed me away" You said

"What do you mean?"

"They now had forgotten about me..." You spoke

"Stop going around circles and tell me the real reason!!" Irene screamed gripping on the cell door

"You want to kill me?" You asked

"I want to kill you so badly!! For killing my friend Hans!" Irene said

"Then kill me" You said surprising Irene "I had enough of this wretched fate anyway it's better to end it"

Irene clenched her teeth as she stared at you angrily

"You... You just...." Irene said

"Life is not worth living when you were born to live in a wretched fate" you said

"You just didn't care about me don't you?" Irene said with tears in her eyes

You became quiet

"You tried to kill everyone in my life, my friend Hans, my uncle, my maid Sabrina and more people...." Irene said "If Gerald didn't told me everything I must be living with a criminal"

"Criminal?!!" You said

"Yes Criminal!! You killed so many people!! I don't know why did I fall for such a murderer!!" Irene said

"Murderer?!"

"Yes murderer!!"

You stood up and walk towards the cell door.

"You must've been poisoned" You said

"Poisoned? How dare you-"

"Did you regret loving me?" You asked

Irene were taken aback but out of her anger she look at you in the eye

"I do" Irene said

You were surprised then anger started taking over you

"You do?"

"Yes I do! I wished that we never met and I hope that you disappear from my life" Irene said

You were surprised on what she said, tears start to form on your eyes Irene saw it but she shrugged it off then you took a step back

"You wanna know the reason why?" You said

Irene look at you

"To protect you" you said

She scoffed "Protect me?"
