Tam's POV:

I waited outside Everglen for someone to let me in. Della came quickly to the door,

"Hello, Tam!" she said as she ushered me inside. I sat down at a very long table, next to Biana. Fitz gave me the evil eye all through the event, scowling at me over soup, glaring over guava, and mumbling over Mallowmelt. Alden and Della were clearly curious about me, but tried not to ask too many questions. When it was over, Fitz came up to me.

"Come with me, we're having that Talk now," he said, I gulped. He looked pleased. I excused myself, and followed him upstairs. A whole lot of stairs. When we started heading down, I realized he was leading me the long way. The very long way. Finally, we stopped at a door, he waved me inside, and I sat in an uncomfortable chair in the corner. I'll admit, I called the shadows toward me.

"So," he said pacing, "You want to date my sister," Fitz said in a completely emotionless tone. I wouldn't have been more terrified if he was yelling at me. I cleared my throat,

"Yes," he glared, apparently I wasn't supposed to talk.

"Why do you think I would let you," I knew Biana wouldn't care about what he thought. But I didn't dare say that.

"Biana is the most wonderful, beautiful person in the world," I said, "She is amazing, talented, cares about people, and somehow she cares about me," Fitz stopped,

"Did she say so?"

"Yes, the night of the sleepover, I admitted how I felt, and then she-she said

*dramatic flashback*

Biana: 

 I blushed, "I like you too Tam," I said. He looked stunned, I went over to him, and kissed him lightly on the cheek.

*back to present*

I didn't realize I had said that out loud until Fitz mumbled

"Hm, you seem all right," he said, "But if you break her heart, I will destroy you," I knew he would stick to that threat, so I nodded and said,

"I won't ever break her heart."
