Chapter 5

Kylie POV

It's been a few days since getting back from Vegas. I went back to work yesterday and it was the worst. Harry wanted me to call him last night but I said I wasn't in the mood and that I will tonight after work when I get out at 9:00. I was currently on my lunch break eating in the break room on my phone when my friend and co worker Haley walks in.

"Have you heard the rumors?" She asked me sitting down as I put my phone down

"What rumor? City or Celebrity?" I ask her first

"Duh celebrity! Of course Harry Styles apparently it's true he's dating that Nadine girl?!" She exclaimed as I choked on my water "are you ok?!" patting my back o swallow finally

"Yeah I'm good... Where did you see that?" I ask her she whips out her phone and pulls up Twitter

"Apparently earlier today they went out to Frozen Yogurt and were flirting with one another." She said showing me pictures... She's really pretty, also super skinny. She is a Victoria Secret Model after all. I can never compete with that. Ever.

"Wow that's crazy. " I said

"I know even though they have been seen a lot with the last couple months so it kinda makes sense." She said I nod my head

"Yeah.... It does." I said slowly starting to feel hurt inside my body, I feel k wanna cry. I have only known Harry for a week and I wanna cry over him.

"I better get out on the floor before Kelsey screws up this ombré!" I nodded

"I'll be out in a couple minutes." I told her she nodded walking out. I throw out the rest of my food as my phone vibrates on the table I walk over and see Harry texted me, I pick up my phone sliding to see the text.

"I hope your having a better day at work, Beautiful. Maybe we can FaceTime tonight I miss seeing you. Text me soon I also miss talking to you. <3 "

I sigh I can't handle talking to him right now. I put my phone on silent and put it in my pant pocket and walk out to the floor.

Once I got into the car after work I called Alexa and she picked up right away.

"What's up?" she asked

"Do you think Harry is dating that Nadine?" I ask right away starting my car and turning on the heat

"I don't know. It looks like they are pretty comfortable with one another but that's what the paparazzi is making it out to be. Have you asked Harry?" She asked

"I just got out of work, he texted me saying he wanted to FaceTime tonight." I said and she squealed

"Kylie you better even though I'm 3 hours away I can still kick you later on." She said as I laugh " Have you told your mom yet?" She ask as I start to drive

"No... I don't keep stuff from my mom so this is really weird. I'll tell her when I get home." I said as I begin to serve a little "Can I let you go I'm on black ice or something." I said

"Yes please be careful" she said hanging up

It would fucking snow right now after work. Driving in this since I've been 16 it's nothing to me now. I get onto the highway heading north sighing thinking about everything that has happened in the last week.

I finally pull into my driveway safely parking on the street, I head inside as I see my mom sitting on the couch watching Shark Tank.

"Hey Honey! How was work?" She asked I sighed

"I have to talk to you." I look around the house "is dad asleep?" I ask

"Yeah he went to bed 20 minutes ago" she points up to the second floor "what's up?" She asked I sit down next to her "this must be serious if your not changing out of your work cloths."

"It is." I sighed "so the 2nd to last night in Vegas I did something really stupid.." I said

"Ok?"

"Um you know the Friends episode of where Ross and Rachel got really drunk and got married?" I asked

"Oh no you didn't?!" She exclaimed

"Yeah..... I so did..... To Harry Styles." I said I look to her face and she starts laughing "why are you laughing mother this isn't a laughing matter?!" I told her

" You must be joking!" She said laughing harder that she is literally crying

"Oh my god mom no I'm dead serious. Hold on" I said running up to my room opening the door going to my best grabbing the paper running back down, now out of breathe and hand her the paper. She takes it begins reading her eyes got really big. And looks at my ring finger and sees my ring still on..

"KYLIE NICOLE" she exclaimed loudly

"SSSHHH" I said

"Your serious?!" She said I pull my phone out and go into pictures and pull one out of Harry and I the next day when he took me to the trampoline house of us both smiling. "oh my god!"

"I know." I said

"What are you guys doing?" She asked

"He wants to try.... Make it work.... Long distance I don't know... He took me out to lunch and he said he was going to ask for my number anyways at the bar.. He was in town for a birthday party for a friend. " I went into more detail with her eyes just go really big and wide

"Oh my god.. I never thought you get married!" I groan I've always been independent I've had a few boyfriends but they were always controlling.

" Well as of today he was seen with Nadine." I told her

"Oh yeah I remember you telling me about her" she said and she sighed "Come her Ky Bird" she said as I walk to her siting braiding wrapping her arms around me " Do what you think makes you happy. If you think you can handle long distance that's wonderful but I don't want to see you all worked up and depressed everyday if a rumors comes up. Your so much stronger than this and been through a lot of things in life." I smile a bit what she said

" He wants to FaceTime me now but I can't bear to listen and see him.. Not today." I said

" Do what you got to do sweets." She said kissing my forehead

A week later

Harry POV

It's been a week since I've talked to Kylie and I'm going crazy. I have the heavy pit in me that something isn't right. I've been calling her and texting her and she's not giving in. Right now I'm at my birthday party in LA with all my friends. I'm trying to have a good time but it's really hard. Also jumping on a plane to see what's going on with Kylie has also been really hard.

I've just been surrounding myself around people tonight and having fun

I just wish the person I really want here was talking to me.
