Chapter 1 Piper's POV

" Coco look at this jacket my mom bought for me!"

"Omg that's so cute"

" Yeah I know. Oh crap I gotta get to class in 15 minutes"

" K see you later?"

" Yeah. Bye Coco"

"Bye"

I start making sure I have my books ready for study hall. Wait why is that Lev kid staring at me? Omg he's coming this way... Act cool Piper. Don't do anything stupid.

" Hi." He says

" Oh uh Hi Lev"

" I was um wondering if you wanted to go out with me?"

" Uh yeah sure. What day?"

" Friday at 3:00. We can meet up at Wawa then go to the mall."

" Ok. B-bye Lev"

" Bye"

Ok.. WHAT THE FREAK JUST HAPPENED? I need to tell Coco ASAP

5 Hours Later

I'm so glad that math is finally over. 1 more hour till school's done. What should I get for lunch? Hmmm I think I'll have a salad.

" Sarah" I say

" Yeah Piper?"

" Do you know where Coco is?"

" Um she's in the bathroom"

" Oh ok. Guess what"

"What?"

" Lev asked me out. We have a date Friday at 3:00."

" No way. I mean why would Lev Cameron ask you a 7th grader out?"

" I swear I'm telling the truth. You can ask him yourself."

" Uh no way. He's way too old to ask him that type of stuff. Oh and plus I bet he can't even remember what day it is..."

" Actually it's Monday." Lev say tapping her on her shoulder

" OH MY G- Uh hey Lev. I was just kidding ya know?

" Yeah whatever. I'll see you Friday Piper"

" Bye Lev. I'm sorry for what I said. I swear it will NEVER happen again."

" Wait Lev. Before you go... Um I-it's actually Tuesday" I say nervously

Lev walks away looking a bit annoyed

" Well that was embarrassing. Sucks to be you. Anyways I gotta go get to class. SEE YA"

I then walk away. As soon as I walked out of the lunch room the bell rang. My last class was PE which was usually 30 to 40 mins. Once PE was over I got my phone out to text Coco

PIPER:Hey Coco

COCO: oh hi.

PIPER: meet me at the park as soon as you can.

COCO: k. just give me a sec to drop off some things at home

PIPER: ok see you then :)

I quickly ran home to grab my headphones so I can listen to some music. Once I arrive at the park I just sit down on the bench.

" Hi Coco"

" Hey Piper"

"K so you know Lev Cameron that kid in the 9th grade who is on the baseball team?

" Yeah"

" He asked me out this morning"

"Really"

" Yup we have a date Friday at 3:00"

" Wow lucky! Well looks like I'm the only single one in our friend group"

"Haha no its just a date. Nothing to big. Oh and plus what if he turns out to be a jerk?"

" Are you kidding? I heard that he's one of the nicest boys in the 9th grade. I doubt that he would ever be mean to you"

" No what... Your right thanks Coco"

I didn't really hear what she said after that cause I saw a cute boy staring at her.

" Omg there's a really cute guy over there"

"Huh?"

" Wow I think I recognize him from school"

" You should go talk to him"

" What no no he's probably busy"

" He's coming this way"

"WHAT?"

After that Coco and that cute guy were talking. I was trying to think about what I was going to wear for my date. Once I stopped staring off in to space I heard Coco and him speaking.

" Here's my number so you can tell me your address so I can pick you up tomorrow. I'll text you k?"

" Ok Gavin um bye"

" Bye Coco"

" OK WE BOTH HAVE DATES NOW" I say excitedly

" YEAH WE DO. OMG WHAT AM I GONNA WEAR?"

" I DON'T KNOW. MAYBE A WHITE TOP?"

" WHATEVER I WEAR IT HAS TO BE CUTE"

" Oh crap.. I gotta go my mom is about to come back from her doctors appointment."

" Oh ok Piper. I'll text you tomorrow."

"ok bye" I say walking away

I quickly ran home and sat down and pretended that I was doing homework.

" Hi Pips."

" Hi mom. How did your appointment go?"

"Great. I gotta start making dinner. Can you go tell your brother to get off his phone and go outside?"

" Yeah sure"

As I do what my mom says, I can't stop thinking about my date. I don't know why, but I have a feeling somethings gonna go wrong....
