Chapter 14

Piper's POV

I woke up this morning feeling a bit sad. I don't exactly know why. That all changed when I walked out of the room I was in and saw Lev. It looked like he was getting ready for school.

" Hey Lev" I say

" Hey? What are you doing here? How did you get in here?'

" Well last night I think you overdosed. You called me and here I am"

" Oh ok." He says frowning a bit

" Um Lev?"

"Yeah" He said getting his bookbag

" We don't have school today."

"What? But it's Friday."

" I know. Weird right?"

He was about to respond when his phone went off. A few seconds later mine went off too. I checked my phone to see this....

" Omg Lev... We need to stock up on food."

" No I have plenty don't worry"

" Lev look at the sky..."

All of a sudden heavy rain started. It fell so hard I felt like I was shaking.

" Lev I'm kinda scared..."

" Piper it's ok. Plus this is not what a Category 4 hurricane feels like. This is more alike 2 or 3. We will be fine. Lets go watch a movie or something"

" Ok Lev." I say walking at his side

" Oh crap.. My moms calling me. Um you choose a movie to watch"

" Um ok" I say looking at the options. I see Dunkirk and decide that's what we shall watch.

" I'm back. Sorry she was just making sure I was ok. oOoOooO What's this?' He says sliding in a spot next to me

" Dunkirk. I chose to watch it cause Harry Styles is in it ( LOVE YOU HARRY)."

" Oh.. um ok."

While we were watching the movie, I noticed Lev and I getting closer to each other by the second. By the time the movie was over I had my head laying on Lev's chest. We both had fell asleep. We woke up from a big crash.

I pop up immediately to see a broken window, Then hear a knock at the door.

"Omg Coco, Gavin.... What are you doing here?" I say still very scared from the broken window

" M-My house is flooded. My mom told me and Gavin to ask if we could stay here while we try to get the water out. C-Can we" Coco says water dripping from her hair

" Of course. Come in. Be careful there's broken glass." I say pulling them in

" PIPER? WHY IS THERE BROKEN GLASS?" I hear Lev yell from the guest room

" I'll be right back. Try to warm up ok?"

" Ok" Gavin said holding Coco

Lev's POV

" Ok Lev the window broke while we were asleep. I think the hurricane is getting worst..."

" Yeah. We should gather up some blankets to keep warm." Lev said

" I agree. Oh and Gavin and Coco just came cause their house flooded"

" Oh... wow um ok. Lets gather up some blankets"

" Ok"

We gather some blankets and pillows. When Piper and I walk out into the Livingroom to see Coco and Gavin in a steamy makeout session.

" HEY I said try to stay warm" Piper said giggling

" And that's what we're doing. Keeping each other warm" Gavin said motioning between him and Coco

" Whatever we brought-" I say before the power goes out.

"-Blankets" I say now in the dark

All of a sudden I see a light.

" This is why I always bring candles and flashlights" Piper says lighting a pumpkin spice candle

" Me too" Coco says pulling a long candle out of her pocket

We all are now just staring at her

" What? I have big pockets" She says shrugging. We end up making a fort to hide in. We all are just talking about how scared we are, and if we end up getting stuck in here.

" Um guys..." Gavin says looking out the mini window we made

" Yeah?" I say laughing at a joke Piper made

"OMG THERE'S A PUPPY HANGING ON TO A COUCH FOR DEAR LIFE" He says running out the fort. He comes back about 2 minutes later wet, and with a puppy in his arms.

" Omg it's so cute. Here wrap it in this blanket."

" It says on the tag... Her names Spirit. Such a cute name right?" Gavin says cuddling the puppy

" Yeah.. Um I'll be right back. Lev... I want to talk to you" Piper says grabbing my hand

We walk in to the hallway so Coco and Gavin can't hear us.

" So what did you want to tal-" She cuts me off by kissing me. It was short but sweet.

" Um.. S-Sorry for doing that I-I just... I like you soooo much Lev, and I really, really don't want to but I do. A-And I know you hurt me in a way that I can't even describe but I still like you... And wha-what ever happens I don't want to lose this feeling. I really shouldn't say this, but if I didn't I would be lying to you..... I love you Lev! I love you so much that I can't stay away from you. Th-That I can't even stay mad at you... My point is I love you OK?" Piper said sounding scared, but confident

" Piper I love you too... I've always loved you" I say. We hug tighter than your mothers' weave is. Then we just start kissing each other. We didn't realize Coco and Gavin were watching us till Coco squealed.

" YESSS I KNEW SOMETHING WOULD HAPPEN BETWEEN YOU TOO!!! GAVIN YOU OWE ME 10 DOLLARS!!!"

" But we didn't even bet money" Gavin said

" That's what you think..."

" Um... You know what.. I'm just gonna go um.... Use the bathroom" Piper said smiling then started running.

We went back to the fort. Gavin and I started taking photos for Insta.

20 Minutes Later

I'm starting to get worried about Piper. Lev don't worry. Maybe she just got her period. I run to the bathroom and knocked on the door before opening it. What I saw made my heart drop to my stomach....

" L-Lev... help....please"

OK THAT CHAPTER WAS HARD TO WRITE. I felt bad about taking so long to upload so here's a chapter that consists of over 1,000 words. Vote, Comment, and tell me what you think happened to Piper. Did Gavin's mom come back? Did Piper just fall and is being dramatic?
