Monday, September, 12th. I yawned while stretching my arms towards the ceiling. We slept in the living room, we didn't have furnisher in the rooms yet.
"Good Morning Darling" Mom said in a calm voice.
"Morning" I reply while yawning again.
"We don't have food yet so we're going out for breakfast"
I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair.
I pull out the straightener from my mom's suitcase.
I straightened my hair and applied some mascara.
"I'll be in the car!" Mom called.
I get ready and head to the car.
Connect my AirPods and scroll through Instagram.
Mom drives to Paris Coffee Shop, it's very famous in Austin. I wondered if the barista from yesterday was at this location as well. I am a very shy person, so I think it's going to be complicated to make friends. All I could think about last night was that barista. I completely forgot to look at her name tag.

Mom and I enter the coffee shop, the delicious coffee smell made me go nuts inside. It looked so warm and cozy inside. I noticed a group of kids my age at the corner of the coffee shop.
"Mom, what do you want me to get you ?" I asked
"I'll have a breakfast sandwich and an iced americano." She replied.
I head to the counter and notice the barista from yesterday. I was thrilled with excitement. She notices me and waves at me. I wave back. She insists to take my order. I was getting so excited for absolutely no reason. I thought, I don't deserve to know anyone this pretty!
"Hey, how are you!" she said in the most beautiful voice.
"I'm doing great, how about you!" I respond.
"I'm great as-well, what can I get for you?" she asked.
"I'll have one medium iced coffee with soy milk and caramel drizzle, a breakfast sandwich and an iced americano."
"Noted, that will be $10" she exclaimed.
I patiently waited near the "pick up" counter.
"Here you go, Syd!" She calls out.
"Thank you, may I know your name?" I say nervously.
"Ava"
"Nice name, thanks uh have a good day !"
"Bye-bye!"
"That was delicious, we should head out!" Mom says in excitement.
We head to the car and get the radio on. I connected my phone to the radio and played music.
"So, where are we going?" I asked
"We'll go to the car dealership. I need to get a car ASAP!" Mom answered.
All done, we got the car! Mom got a white Honda Amaze, pretty swag. Next stop, furnisher shop! I had a whole list in my head. I'm going for a simple but not simple room if that even makes sense. We didn't feel like going in and choosing items so we went to a drive-thru store where we could get a tablet to pick everything off a catalog. Pretty cool if you ask me.
"Hmm, Syd do you prefer this white couch or this grey one?"
"Syd, This or that?"
"Which one do you prefer?"
These questions went on forever, it got on my nerves! I picked out a bed, some plants, bookshelves, wall decorations, and just some random furnisher. Mom got all she needed for the house, they agreed to deliver it to our house the next morning. I couldn't get Ava off my mind. After all, I am going to see her at school next week. Mom drives to the grocery store. We got everything we needed for a month. I got a bunch of candy. The cashier lady didn't seem like the nicest person but I didn't mind her. She had long red nails that she kept clicking on the screen.
"Ahh finally home!" I sighed.
I connected my PS4 to the tv, got some snacks, got my gaming headphones, and started playing Call Of Duty. I'm really into gaming, I could game all day if I was allowed to. It was around 5 pm when I finished playing. It was another normal afternoon, Netflix and phone.
