October 1st,

I woke up like every other day, It was sunny but chilly. I get out of bed and put on a sweater. Last night, Sabrina asked me If I wanted to hang out with her and a couple of her friends. I was down cause I wanted to meet new people. Ava was still on my mind every day, even tho Sabrina and I have gotten really close. Sabrina came to pick me up around 11:30 am. Her friend, Leo drove us since he was 16. We headed to Starbucks to get a coffee. It was International Coffee Day so we thought it would be fun. Sabrina, Leo, and I joined the other people who already arrived.

"Hey guys, this is Sydney, she's new here!" Sabrina told her friends as we entered the Starbucks.

I waved at them and they smiled. We stood in line and waited for our turns to order.

"I'll have a Grande Iced Macchiato with Cold foam Please," Sabrina told the Barista.

"What do you want to get, Syd?" She asked as she faced me.

"I'll just have the same thing as you," I replied.

Leo, Sabrina, Kylie, Haley, Nick, and I headed to a big enough table to fit us all. I started talking in the conversation and I was actually having a good time. It was all smiles until my hand started shaking. My heart started beating so fast out of nowhere. I started panicking but I didn't show. As we drank our drinks, we decided to go for a little car ride.

Sabrina connects her phone to the car and plays her playlist. We all sing so loud, the people outside started. Out of nowhere, my arm starts hurting. it's probably just my cuts. I didn't mind them anyways. After the coffee and car ride, it was already 12:45. Sabrina's friends drop us at her house. She had invited me over for lunch. Her house looked really nice.

"Hello! You must be Sydney! How are you?" Sabrina's mom asks as soon as we enter the kitchen.

"Hello! Yes, I'm Sydney, I'm good thank you." I reply nervously.

"I'm Sabrina's mom, you can call me, Jenny."

"Nice to me you," I say in a slowed voice.

"Lunch will be ready in 5 minutes!"

Sabrina and I go up to her room. We start talking for a while. Then, she brings up a personal topic. I start stressing but I still answer her questions. We then go down for lunch. We had pasta with Sabrina's mom.

After that, we gamed, drew and watched movies. By 5 pm, she asked if I wanted to sleep over. I called my mom to ask her. She said yes and that she would drop by to give me my bag of clothes. When she arrived, she introduced herself to Jenny. I was getting a bit embarrassed.

Suddenly, I receive a text from Ava. She asked how my day was and if I was down to hang out the next day. I didn't know if I could make it on time. Sabrina asked what I was doing on my phone and I told her my friend wanted to hang out the next day. She said I could invite them to the sleepover so I asked Ava. She was down so I sent her the address.

When Ava arrived, we went down to open the door.

"Hey, come in!" I tell Ava as she leans in for a hug, I hug her back.

"I'm coming!" Sabrina yells from upstairs.

Ava and I sit on the couch while we wait for Sabrina to come downstairs.

"Hey!" Sabrina says before she sees Ava.

"Hey!" Ava replies

When they see each other, they are both in shock. I was confused.

"You?" Sabrina exclaims in a confused voice.

"Yeah.." Ava responses.

I was really confused. Maybe something happened between them before. I had no clue.
