A week later, Ava and I have gotten really close. We texted every day and sat together at lunch.

Ava :)

ava: goodmorning butterfly :)

syd: good morning sunshine :)

ava: hahaha how'd you sleep?

syd: didn't get much sleep, it was alright, hbu?

ava: same lol

syd: lmaoo, anyways I have to get ready, see you at school :)

She was so sweet, texting me every morning and asking how I slept. I got out of bed, headed to the bathroom, and watched my face. "Ugh, my hair looks like a broom," I thought as I looked at myself in the mirror. I got dressed and walked down to get breakfast.

"Good Morning Pumpkin!" My mom said as she closed the fridge.

Pumpkin was a nickname everyone used to call me back in Colorado. It was cute but it got annoying.

I had arrived at school, it was Monday so I had English first.

After break, I had algebra. It really sucked, but I didn't mind it as much because the classroom looked cool. I entered the classroom and walked to the back and took a seat next to a girl I've never seen before.

"Good Morning class, have a seat, today you will be paired up in groups to work on these worksheets. At the end of the class, we will check them as a class. Your partner will be who you are seated next to." Ms. Carman announced to the class.

I turned my head around and smiled at the girl next to me. She looked very pretty. She has long brown hair and hazel eyes. Her outfit looked amazing too! The teacher passed the worksheet around. I turned my chair around a bit to face the girl.

"Hey! I'm Sabrina." She exclaims

"Nice to meet you! I'm Sydney."

It was 4:25 am. I arrived home and went to my room. Sabrina texted me and asked if I wanted to FaceTime. I had nothing to do so I was down. Well, I did have homework so I asked her if we could do it together. For some reason, we got along pretty fast. We were twenty minutes into the call and we already knew so much about each other.

I skipped dinner on that day cause I didn't feel like eating.
