Chapter 10

Y/N'S POV

It was a new day and I was currently getting ready for my day with Rose as I was heading to the park with my family along with Tewkesbury and his family. I was really excited to be there as I did ask him if wanted to attend with me. Only mother knows and she was fine with it, but I'm not sure about what my brothers are gonna think.

"This is my own recipe your grace" Rose said applying blush to my cheeks.

"Ou, I really like this shade. And its shimmery too" I said smiling at Rose.

"Haha thank you. Shall I apply more?" She asked wondering if she applied too much or too little.

"Ofcourse, go ahead" I told her as she applied more to my cheek.

"So I heard you are going promenading with Lord Tewkesbury" She stated looking at me through the mirror.

"Yes, I invited him as a friend." I plainly said.

"It didn't look like that to me" she laughed while wiggling her eyebrows.

"Stop it Rose" I laughed.

"Sorry your grace." She laughed as well.

"You guys have a very good connection, dont let anyone ruin it" She assured me.

"I shall never let that happen Rose" I smiled.

We arrived at the landscape and our tent as well as food were being set up. Afterwards we all sat under the cool shed with the breeze caressing our faces. I patiently waited, looking around for Tewksbury carriage to arrive while everyone else did their own thing. I could hear footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Anthony sitting beside me.

"How may I help you?" I said removing my gaze at him looking for Tewkesbury.

"I came to apologize." He sighed.

"What for exactly" I looked towards him seeing the guilt on his face.

"For everything. I'm sorry I took matters into my own hands but I was just trying to help you sister." He said pleading for my forgiveness.

"I don't need your help brother, I could make my own decisions. I gave my wishes and you proceeded to ignore them for your good." I said nonchalantly.

"Look Y/n, I'm sorry, but I wanted you to find a-..." He stated but I heard horses arriving and I looked up to see Tewkesbury's family carriage.

"Will you excuse me?" I asked Anthony and immediately and excitedly got up to go to Tewkesbury's side. I walked to their carriage to see an older lady who seems to be his mother and a little boy around the age of 11 exiting the carriage.

"Tewkesbury!" I exclaimed hugging his tightly as he hugged back, from the corner of my eye, I can see his mother gazing towards me.

"Oh u- um, Good Day your Grace" I bowed at her and she laughed.

"Oh dear, no need to bow" She hugged me and gave me a reassuring smile.
