The Doctor Dances- Part Three.
The group, back together, headed across Limehouse Green. Jack looked around a corner and recognised a guard. "There it is. Hey, they've got Algy on duty. It must be important."
" We've got to get past him." The Historian hissed.
" Are the words distract the guard heading in my general direction?" Rose murmured.
" I don't think that'd be such a good idea." Jack said.
" Don't worry I can handle it."
Jack shook his head. " I've got to know Algy quite well since I've been in town. Trust me, you're not his type. I'll distract him. Don't wait up."
The Doctor smirked. " Relax, he's a fifty first century guy. He's just a bit more flexible when it comes to dancing."
"How flexible?" Rose asked.
" Well, by his time, you lot have spread out across half the galaxy." The Historian told her.
"Meaning?"
"So many species, so little time."
"What, that's what we do when we get out there? That's our mission? We seek new life, and, and"
The Doctor and Historian smirked at her "Dance."
The historian looked over Historian shoulders as she saw Algy fall to the floor, and the faint voice of 'mummy'. "Oh no." She hissed as she ran towards Jack, followed by rose and the doctor. "Get back!" She yelled.
"You men, stay away!" Jack yelled as some guards came running over.
The Doctor looked around " The effect's become air-borne, accelerating."
Just then, the air raid sirens rang out "What's keeping us safe?" Asked Rose.
"Nothing."
" Ah, here they come again." Jack called as the children walked towards them.
Rose groaned "All we need. Didn't you say a bomb was going to land here?"
"Never mind about that. If the contaminants airborne now, there's hours left." The doctor told her.
" For what?" Jack asked.
"Till nothing, forever. For the entire human race. And can anyone else hear singing?" The Historian asked as, in the distance, she heard someone singing rock a by baby...
The Historian and Doctor snuck over to Nancy, who was singing "When the wind blows, the cradle will rock. When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall. Down will come baby, cradle and all."
She saw them come in and stopped...until the Doctor motioned her her to keep singing. " Rock-a-bye baby, on the tree tops. When the wind blows the cradle will rock."
The Doctor gets her handcuffs undone and they sneak Nancy out and towards the spaceship. Jack took a cover off it and grinned. " You see? Just an ambulance."
Nancy stared at it with wide eyes. "That's an ambulance?"
Rose shrugged "It's hard to explain. It's from another world."
"They've been trying to get in." Jack said, nodding towards a fence.
"Of course they have. They think they've got their hands on Hitler's latest secret weapon. What're you doing?" The Doctor says.
Theyclooked towards jackcwho was keying in access codes. "The sooner you see this thing is empty, the sooner you'll know I had nothing to do with it-" the panel began flashing ded with a loud bag and an alarm blaring out.
