Chapter 14

"I love you too Kamitani."

*Hayato's POV*

I watched as Ryuuichi got out of the shower and I'm guessing he headed to my room. I waited a while before exiting myself, and just wrapped a towel around my waist. I walk to my room to change into my clothes.

"Hey what are you watching?" I asked Ryuuichi since he turned the TV on.

"Oh sorry, I was just watching the news apparently there's been drive by happening around the city."

I nod in response and start changing into my clothes. I could feel Ryuuichi stealing a glance every now and then at my body, but I don't mind.

"Am I really that hot?" I joke.

"Huh! What! I'm sorry!"

"Nah I'm just kidding, but if you're going to stare at someone at least don't make it obvious, unless you want the person to know."

"And what if I want the person to know?~"

"Oh really?" I say walking up towards him lifting his chin up so we met eye to eye.

"I'm just kidding!" He says while blushing.

"You're so cute." I mumble under my breath.

We laid in bed together for a while since it was still pretty early and we didn't know what to do. We watched the news for a bit, until I remembered that graduation would come quickly even thought it's until next school year.

"Hey Kashima?"

"Mhm?"

"What are you going to be when you're out of high school?"

"Honestly, I don't know... Maybe a daycare teacher? What about you?"

"I'll probably keep playing baseball."

We sat there in silence for a while not knowing what to say to strike up a conversation. Then Ryuuichi's phone rang.

"Yup... Ok... Oh... Ok I'll be there in a few." He says. He turns back at me with a disappointed smile. "I have to get going the Chairlady is asking for me."

"Oh ok. Do you want me to walk you there?"

"Nah it's fine. Plus it's just a couple of minutes from here either way, so I'm sure I'll be fine."

"Ok then."

I walk him to the front door to say our goodbyes, and then give him a quick kiss before he left.
