Chapter 7

"Where the fuck do you want to sleep?"

Hayato just stared at me as if I committed a crime by asking him the question. The people had to know where he was going to sleep! And by people I mean me!

"So?" I ask.

"I'm fine to sleep wherever." He says.

"Ok then you'll sleep in the room next door." I tell him.

Hayato face turned into a disappointed one.

"Kotarou is more important than you, now sho~." I saw waving Hayato out of my room.

I mentally scream the moment I closed the door on Hayato. What did he mean he liked me but didn't want to ask me like this? Did he plan on asking me? What about the kiss? Oh my god, should I be happy, sad, excited, or what?!

My mind was going in circles trying to process everything that just happened.

Ok Ryuuichi, just go to sleep with Kotarou and leave this problem for future you ok? Yeah that sounds like a plan. I tell myself.

I left my room shortly after Hayato left. I made my way to the living room to get Kotarou in bed. I found him hiding under a chair with Saikawa trying to get him out.

"Pspsps." Saikawa calls Kotarou not acknowledging my existence.

"Uh Kotarou?" I say.

Quickly Kotarou gets up and runs to me.

"Nii-chan!" He yells while hugging my leg.

I lean down and hold him in my arms.

"We'll be going to bed now, see you in the morning." I tell Saikawa.

"Goodnight, hope you rest well." Saikawa responds.

I nod and leave the room.

I quickly get Kotarou ready for bed.

"Kotarou go grab a book to read." I tell him.

Kotarou's short stubby body runs towards the bookshelf and exams the books closely to see which one to pick.
Once he was done, he comes back to the bed that I was sitting on with book in hand. He held the book up high to get my attention on it.

"What book did you pick Kotarou?" I ask.

No surprise, he stayed quiet but just pushed the book in my face. I grab the book from his hands and start reading the book's name out loud.

"Hooked?" I say.

The book had the hand of a little doll and over all the cover was all dark.

"Are you sure you want to read this?" I ask because of the alarming cover.

Before I started to read the book I hear knocks at the door.

"Come in." I say.

Hayato comes in with his night clothes.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I can't sleep." He complains.

"Oh! I was going to read Kotarou a book do you want to join?"

"Yeah, if that's ok with you both." Hayato says.

"It's fine with me. What about you Kotarou?" I say turning my heads towards him.

Kotarou nods his head in response.

"Well that's a yes from both of us, here come with next to me, Kotarou is going to lay on my lap." I say offering.
