Chapter 1

Today was a nice summer day. The sun was out, and the flowers bloomed. I stared at the scenery that surrounded the outside of the daycare center while I walked Kotarou and myself towards the entrance building of the school. The school was fairly empty meaning that it was a Sunday. Yoshito-kun asked me to help him clean up the daycare him since he hasn't been able to get a couple of stains out of the carpet that the children made on Friday. As Kotarou and I made our way to my locker to change into our indoor shoes, I noticed a rather familiar scream running down the hallway.

"Ryuu-san!" The voice hallerd at me. I quickly recognized the voice, it was Taka-kun.

"Hi Taka-kun!" I say with a smile while putting Kotarou and my outdoor shoes in my locker.

"Where's Hayato?" I asked, mainly for the fact that Hayato was always with Taka-kun outside the club room.

BONK.

I heard shortly after I asked the question.

"Mean nii-chan!" Taka said with tears in his eyes.

"I wouldn't have needed to hit you if you didn't run off like that." Hayato hissed at him.

"Hey Hayato." I say greeting him, "What are you doing here?"

"The baseball club wanted to practice this weekend since we have a game against the other school in town, and I had to bring this little shit with me to drop him off in my mother's classroom with her." Hayato explain.

"That makes sense." I tell myself.

"What are you doing here?" Hayato asks turning the question on me.

"Oh! Yoshihito-san asked me to come in today to help out with some messes that he couldn't clean up by himself, so I decided to bring Kotarou along with me while I cleaned." I explained myself.

"Taka-san" Kotarou said with grabbing the other boy's hand.

"Hey, what if I take Taka-kun with me to the daycare room so he can play around with Kotarou, instead of causing trouble for you or your mom." I requested.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, but I don't want to make your weekend more stressful than it is having to be around Yoshihito-san already." Hayato said. I chuckled at the statement made.

"Nah, it's fine really, that's why I asked in the first place, plus, Kotarou and him already seem to want to play with each other already." I informed.

"Well, if it's ok with you, then I guess there's no arguing with that." Hayato said defeated. I noticed a warm smile went on my face.

"Taka-kun, Kotarou come on, lets go to the club room while your brother attends his baseball practice." I informed Taka-kun.

Taka-kun and Kotarou started walking already to the club room with Hayato and myself following quickly after.

"Hey, once we go to the daycare room, want to walk with me to my baseball practice?" Hayato asked.

"Huh?" I questioned because he never asks and I already knew where the teamed practiced.

"It's because we're not practicing in our usual spot, so I wanted to show you where we're practicing so you can drop Taka off once you're done cleaning up." Hayato informed.

"Mhm!" I said rather loud for some reason trying to agree his offer.

"Ryuuichi! You finally made it! Oooo, I see you brough some guests with you too." Yoshihito-san stated calling Hayato and Taka-kun out.

"Ha, yeah." I said nervously, while explaining the situation to him.

"Oh ok. Well anyways don't take long alright, and make sure to not get lost on your way back Ryuuichi~" Yoshihito-san called out.
