Chapter 3

Kai

I hopped in my black matte Ferrari making my way to the underground ring. As soon as I finish high school I am to become the American Mafia Boss. Since I was 12, I have been doing underground training and assassination calls. Everything I have ever worked on will be in affect next year.

This year is my senior year, I have been training extra hard for next year. I don't always like being known as "the cold heartless mafia heir" but it's the life I was born into and I can't change that.

I reached the club stepping out of my car, making my way down the back stair case, which is only noticeable if your looking for it.

I let out all my anger I had bottled up, winning every fight. Pounding peoples faces until I had to be torn off of them. My only talent was fighting, the only thing my father was proud of me for.

I grabbed my black leather jacket and made my way to school. I absolutely hated being the new kid, but what's one more time I guess. I was already 2 hours late.

I picked up Cordelia and Yasmin on my way to school this morning, they wouldn't stop talking about their huge winter party they have planned. I told them I was going on vacation to stay with my aunt for a week and wouldn't make it. Though really I have a 1 million dollar job to do, killing Kai Knight, the American Mafia Heir at the annual mafia ball in Italy. I had months of training to do, he wasn't an easy target.

We showed up to school, meeting Luna and Idalia in the hallway. As we scanned over our new classes for this year, I noticed I didn't have any classes with them. I took a deep breath and made my way to my class.

My first class was math, then geography, now chemistry. I watched as the clock slowly ticked to 5 minutes left, this class felt so long. Just as it got extremely boring, nosy bar boy barged in. Who would have thought.

"You must be Kai, I am assuming?" The teacher asked.

He sat in the seat next to me, as soon as I turned my head to see him he smirked. Recognizing me from the bar. He thinks this is funny, doesn't he. I'll show him funny.

"Does anyone know the answer?" The teacher asked.

"Oh hmm, I think Kai knows." I smirked as I watch his smirk disappear, turning his attention to the teacher.

"I'm new I don't fucking know anything."

If this was only the first day, than this was gonna be a long year.

As soon as class ended I grabbed my things and left the classroom. Not once looking back at that asshole.

I made my way to the cafeteria, scanning the room for the girls. I only spotted Luna sitting at the table by herself.

I took a seat next to her, furrowing my eyebrows as to asking where the girls are.

"Apparently they have a different lunch, it's stupid."

"Uhgggg, did you meet the new boy yet?"

"No is he hot?" She asked smirking at me.

"I wouldn't say he's ugly, but he's a hell of an asshole." I rolled my eyes.

I finished my lunch, throwing away my trash. I walked to my next class.

As I entered the room, there he was, the nosy bar boy asshole, sitting in MY seat.
