Author's Pov:
Everyone has a diary to rant their thoughts into, and Yeona had no one when she was bullied and called names just because she wasn't of the perfect body shape in her early teens. Well, society is all about perfect looks, books, and hooks, and that all it took for Yeona to be judged for her looks and hooks because books were her best friends.
And during all these times the only person who stood up for her was her grandfather. He decided to report to the school about it and that's how Yeona changed to another school when she was fourteen and had to go to Seoul to attend it and decided to support herself financially with the biggest support from her grandfather.
And now, he was the person who has spread rumors about her which even she doesn't know or Luna knows and she is refusing to tell her. She still can't believe out of all the people who might betray her, it has to be her grandpa and she was feeling like shit about it.
Yeona was internally shut down as her face didn't show any kind of emotion after she got her consciousness back in a hotel room with Jungkook beside her with their fingers intertwined. Jungkook decided not to disturb her and give some time to herself as she hadn't acted like this before.
She will either scold herself even for other's mistake or cry about it and now when she just sat without any emotion made Jungkook get worried.
Jungkook changed her into an oversized hoodie with a black legging as they were currently in a hotel room which was far away from her house and Jungkook was glad about it. Even he doesn't know how her grandfather betrayed her because Luna doesn't want them to worry.
He kept looking at her as she was staring into space due to hearing something which can never be true in her perspective. She just can't accept it.
"Jeon..?", Yeona trailed calling him and Jungkook hummed in response. "Is this a prank? ", Yeona asked as she looked at him and regretted it.
The look he held was nowhere near hilarious as he had tears glistening his eyes. Yeona searched for even a small hint of humor in them but failed when she didn't find one. "I'm sorry, baby...... It's not a prank even how much I wish It did", Jungkook sighed and sat in front of her as tears slowly began to fall down her cheeks making her lips tremble.
"I need some time", With that, she stood up putting her hood on and making her way towards the door.
"Yeona!... You can't go still", She was out of the door now making her way towards the route of the rooftop and It wasn't hard to make out where it was. Opening the door of the rooftop, she sighed as the cold breeze kissed her cheek making her shudder. It was snowing and it was really a bad choice for her to be out with just her hoodie but she can't help it. It was hard.
It was hard to believe that the person she most trusted was actually betraying her in a way that even she doesn't know.
Going towards the end of it, she placed her hands on the rail and let her tears fall with sobs escaping her lips now and then as the lump in her throat wasn't helping now. Her heart started to hurt painfully and she harshly hit her chest multiple times as she knelt because of the pain increasing.
When she was not able to control it anymore, she took her pill and gulped it down which kinda calmed her. All kinds of thought surrounded her mind as to why her favorite person would've done that.
'Was it because I used to be so bad during my childhood?'
'Was it because I always leaned on him for support?'
'No, maybe it was because I didn't give my best or.........'
'Or was it because even he thought that I wasn't good enough like how everyone thought when I was in middle school?'
