44. EXCUSES

Author's pov :

"I'm thankful for all the things came in our way..... From your departure to Jeju, me getting forced to marry Yeona and now, your grandpa's shit", Jungkook said as they both were on bed as Yeona rested her back on Jungkook's chest while he played with her hair.

Yeona laughed at his words even though he was serious with it. "Why do you say that?", She asked tracing her fingers on the veins of his hand.

"Because our bond is much more stronger now because of all the hardships we've been through", Jungkook kissed her hair and hugged her waist as he placed his chin on her shoulder.

"Yeah yeah.... And we both will be screwed if we don't be on classes from Monday", Yeona said.

"You ruin the moment when I'm trying to be romantic", Jungkook whined.

"You don't need to try, Jeon...... You are already romantic and whenever you talk like that, I end up being sore", Jungkook laughed at her words. Yeona sat up straight and gave him a quick peck on his lips making him to do the same unexpectedly.

"You didn't have your medications since morning, love", Going towards her dressing table, she took out the prescriptions and sorted what medicines to eat and when.

Taking the one which was in the afternoon, she realized it's too late because it's six in the evening. But better late than never, so she took the water bottle and brought it to Jungkook.

"Have it", She said and Jungkook did as she said. "What about the reports for the tests they took?", Yeona asked and took out an oversized shirt of Jungkook and didn't bother to go to the bathroom to change.

She didn't even gave any hint of what she's doing and removed her fabric over her head and put on the other one.

"You didn't just do that while I was drinking?", Jungkook said with wide eyes and shocking expression.

"Oh yes, Jeon..... I just did", Yeona batted her eye lashes and quickly regretted it when she imagined how she looked like. "I look like a bitch doing that".

"No, you don't...... You kinda made me hard doing that", Jungkook winked and did a flying kiss without his hand on his mouth. "And about that reports...... I don't know but let me check my phone to call the hospital though, baby", Taking his phone out, he saw an email and clicked on it.

It was from the doctor telling that he may get his reports and meet him tomorrow.

"What does it say, Jeon?", Yeona asked as soon as she saw the hospital name displayed on the screen.

"We'll get the report tomorrow without fail and I should meet the doctor I guess", Jungkook smiled and Yeona returned it.

"Alright..... I'll invite Luna tomorrow, it has been ages since we both did", Yeona lied down beside him as she placed her leg on top of his with her arm around his stomach, holding him tight.

"You don't want to come with me, baby?", Jungkook caressed her hair.

"You can go..... I want to give you some space after everything that happened today, love. I'll stay at home", Yeona assured him and kissed her head.

Honestly, Jungkook doesn't want to stay away a bit from her. It seems like his bond has grown stronger than what it was yesterday and it is sure that tomorrow, it will be much stronger than today. But, he thought that she might need a girl talk with her sister to get off from the mess and her life and agreed to let her be.

"We have too many homework from the music academy and I have too much to catch up from the university, Jeon....... I'm screwed", Yeona sat up quickly realizing the mess her life is being.
