Okay, so starting the new semester was a little more work than I thought it'd be. Sorry it took me so long to get this chapter out but I hope you guys like it. I'll post soon, either before this weeks done or sooner. Anyways I hope you guys like this scene, I don't think fight stuff is my strong suit but I try.

Disclaimer: As always I don't own any of the arrowverse/DC/CW characters storylines or really anything to do with them. This is purely fanfiction for the enjoyment of others.

The tech team finishes their device and J'onn and Superman fly it out to a location near the monster before returning to the DEO. Everyone is ready, suited up and waiting in the main foyer. J'onn landed and went over to Alex immediately, while Superman drifted off to a corner. After a long hug with her surrogate martian father, Alex walked through the group of superfriends and stood in front of the DEO's main doors. She put on the best smile she could but then allowed it to be replaced with a concerned expression. Part of Alex was so happy and proud that Kara's friends came to help save her city but she also knew that Kara would be so angry if any of them even got the tiniest scratch, especially in her name.

"I know I said it before, but thank you." Alex starts, looking up at the heros. "I keep thinking about how mad Kara would be that I'm putting you all in danger but I also know she wouldn't be surprised and that she'd be holding back a grin to see you all here to help. I loved Kara, so did all of you and I'm so glad that we've come together. If the remaining heroes of this earth had tried to do it alone, we might've won but I have a sickening feeling Kara's funeral wouldn't be the only one to attend. Make sure she is the only casualty and most importantly," Alex paused, scanning the crowd. "Go kick some ass." Everyone smiled slightly and then nodded, putting on their helmets, masks and hoods before the faster heroes sped them to the forest where the creature was moments from breaking free. Lena walked into the room just in time to see the last of the heroes leave, she went over to Alex and gave her a small hug before the two moved to the command center to lead the team.

The wind blew the trees and the monster's screams of frustration were beginning to sound more triumphant as his prison shield fluctuated. The sun had just recently set and Kal-El turned on his Kryptonite shield that they built to stop metallo, it glowed in the dim light of dusk. Besides the creature, the woods were silent, the animals had fled and no human dared to go near the thing that killed their invincible hero. Cisco looked up at the creature, a couple names for it crossed his mind but he couldn't name it, not when this was a serious situation. Winn's drone hovered above them near Ray. Guardian stood at the back of the group beneath the hovering Ray. Winn was to help James like he always did while the others, Felicity, Iris, and Alex worked with the rest of the team. Lena had built more attack drones and although she was told she had to operate them from the DEO she was not backing down from the fight. Her new drones had been programmed with different frequencies and one of them would be the perfect one to disorent their enemy and all Lena had to do was get the drones close without getting them crushed. Oliver took a breath thinking about the last resort, the kryptonite arrows in his quiver, he didn't want to give the beast any ammo that could kill Clark. But if things went bad, he'd have no other choice. Sara twirled her bow staff and looked back at Mick, his flame gun ready, and Zari with her hand floating above her totem. Nate was between them shifting his weight preparing to steal up and Ray was still flying next to Winn's drone. Oliver looked over at his long time friend and brother John Diggle aka Spartan and hoped that the man would get to see his son again. Barry looked between Killer Frost and Vibe, Caitlin and Cisco, then over at Ralph, the latest addition to the team. Wally was out of sight, finishing the last adjustments to the machine they'd built, he wasn't far though, just hidden in the trees. The shield began to glitch even more and Guardian, Superman and the Martian Manhunter moved in front of the group and closer to the creature. Jame's leg was still injured but he wasn't letting that stop him, he was still going to fight and protect whoever he could. The creature paused looking down at the heroes. "Ah, come to die like the pitiful blonde?" He bellowed and it took all of their strength to hold their ground. The rest of the group felt their blood boil but they stood their ground. "And where's that tiny brunette? Don't tell me that simple swing killed her? You humans are so weak."
