"This is actually impossible. Maybe it's a trick assignment." Bloom complains. While we'er sitting in class.

I tun to her from my position next to the window. "Tell me about it, i have to make a star visible while it's daytime. Do you know how hard it is."

Aisha looks up from her water bowl. "You know, it might be easier it you guys stop talking."

Headmistress Dowling walks up to us. "Can you light a single piece of kindling and leave the others untouched?" She asks Bloom.

Bloom manages to do it and smiles at her succes. Dowling turns to me. "Can you show me a star? Any star, just use your powers to brighten it's light and we'll be able to see it."

I sigh but turn to the window anyway. I focus on a star called Arctures, it's far away but not too far. I focus my powers and think of the star. I close my eyes and breathe in deep. When i open my eyes and a bright star shines next to the sun.

I turn around and smile at Dowling. But i'm not focused on the powers. I turn back around and the window explodes in front of my face. I stumble back at the explosion.

I turn towards Dowling with a sheepish look on my face. She looks at me with a raised eyebrow and walks away.

"I have a question." Terra asks me Musa and Bloom when she comes sit at the table with us. "Since when was it cool to be a nerd? I mean, don't get me wrong. It's great. Amazing. Power to the nerds." Me and Musa share a look. What the hell is Terra talking about?

"But suddenly now it's cool to talk about fairy history?" Terra aks.

Bloom shakes her head confused. "What?"

"Well, like, you know, I... I like school. I like getting good grades and reading alone with a cup of chamomile. But you don't see anyone sharing a frickin' apple with me, even though....gross." Terra continues.

We all laugh at her strange story. "We're gonna need so much more context." Musa says.

And Terra continues to ramble about how she doen't understand that Beatrix is hot and smart and how she's not. She should really be more confident about herself, but i know that that's easier said than done.

Me and Sky walk into the greenhouse seeing Silva struggle to pull down his shirt. Sky wanted me to come join him, and i of course didn't say no.

"How bad is it?" Sky asks when we walk up to Silva. Silva sighs but doesn't give him a response. "Is professor Harvey gonna up your dose of Zanbaq? He said i'd keep the wounds at bay—"

Silva interrupts him. "Until it can't anymore." And he groans and stands up slowly.

"I can run the first year spars." Sky says as he starts pacing around the room. "And you can take it easy until the battalion gets to the burned one. What's the status?" He rambles.
