Chapter 13

Everyone rushed over to you, Otis placed his fingers on your neck and sighed in relief.

"She's still alive, barely though."

"Get her medical attention now!" Erwin ordered.

Someone ran back inside while everyone else trickled away.

"Damn idiot!" Levi yelled.

He dropped next to your body and took your cheeks in his hands, not caring if blood seeped into his clothes.

Erwin did the same on your other side and looked down at your pale form.

"Come on sweetheart, you've done this once before you can do it again." He whispered.

"If you die I'll kill you." Levi snapped.

He was trying his best to keep his emotions at bay, he felt so many, anger, sadness, fear. So many emotions all at once he didn't know how to handle them.

Otis looked behind him at Michaels body, golden orbs started to flow from the body and up into the air.

"What's happening to him?" Sasha asked nervously.

"He's reincarnating, he will be born back into heaven as a young angel." Nathanael spoke up.

Everyone jumped and turned around to see a large group of demons behind them. Next to them was Wisp holding a small red haired child in his arms.

"Who are you?" Erwin asked them.

"We are the ancient demons, and this behind us is what is left of the demon kingdom."

Behind them was adults, teenagers, children of all ages with different aspects from wings to horns to tails.

"(Y/N)!" Conrad cried.

The red haired boy wiggles free from Wisp, dropping into the floor wit a thud. He went racing forward before Wisp could catch him.

"Conrad stop!"

Soldiers tried to grab him, but he easily evaded all of them.

He raced under Erwin's legs as the commander tried to stop the child from reaching you, Eren and Jean tried to grab hold of him but missed.

Conrad dodged everyone until he reached your side, he let out a loud cry and dropped by your side, his head feasting against yours.

"You... you can't leave!" He sobbed.

Wisp sighed and walked over to him, kneeling down next to him, placing his hand atop his head, mindful of the crown he wore.

"Now, now, Conrad. She'll be okay. (Y/N) is strong, your strong too, right?"

Conrad sniffled and nodded, lifting his head up to gaze at Wisp with teary golden eyes.

"Well, how about we come away and let the soldiers help her? Can you do that?"

Conrad sniffled again and nodded his head, letting Wisp lift him up and carry him away.

"What a brave little prince you are." Wisp smiled, "it's okay to cry, everyone cries sometimes."

Conrad continued to cry whole Wisp walked around, gently rocking him.

"Everyone come away!" Hanji yelled.

On cue, everyone stepped away from your body, the golden orbs still lit up the air as the last few slowly vanished.

The only person by your side now was Levi, he was stubbornly staring Hanji down.

"I know you want to stay, but you have to move away or I can't help her."

Erwin places hand on Levi's shoulders, urging him to come away.

"Let her have some space."

"Tsk, fine." Levi growled.

He stepped away and eyed all the demons who were stood watching the whole scene play out.

"She.. she can't go Mr Wisp..." Conrad cried.

"It'll be okay little prince, have faith."

"Little prince?" Levi asked.

Wisp nodded his head, turning to face Levi.

"This is Conrad, prince of the demon kingdom."

"He's  a demon?" Erwin asked.

"No, he is human. He was adopted by (Y/N) as he had no one else."

Conrad wiped his eyes and stared everyone down with determination in his eyes.

"I'll be the best little prince until she wakes up!"
