Chapter 14

Hanji has been at it for a while, she had finally finished and set all her tools down with a heavy sigh.

"Jean, Reiner, Eren Bertolt, can you four carefully move her to the medical bay?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am!" They saluted.

The four were extra carefully when they walked over to you and picked you up. They took care when bringing you inside as others opened all the doors for them.

"Will she be okay?" Otis asked.

"I'm not sure, it's gone through, I've done what I can..."

Everyone stood around silently, walking over to the front of the castle, Otis sat down and crossed his legs, placing his hands on his knees as he closed his eyes.

"What's he doing?" Ymir asked, "shouldn't he be with her or something?"

Nathanael shook his head and stood behind Otis, looking at him before everyone else.

"He's meditating."

"What good will that do?" Levi snapped.

"Meditating for a demon is different for a human. He's putting his energy into her body, there's a possibility of it helping her recover."

"But it's not 100%?" Armin questioned.

"No, even with the strongest of demons, even with thousands of them, it's a slim chance."

Nathanael took a seat and did the same thing, followed by Jasmin, Lucan, Mikami, and Oscar.

All the demons sat in a line, meditating. Coming from them were small particles, they just seemed to float into the air before disappearing into the sky.

Wisp turned to all the demons standing up and smiled at them.

"I ask that you join our ancestors in meditating for our queens health."

Conrad wiped his eyes and gazed at them all, a frown in his face.

"Please help us!" He begged.

"If the little prince asks, we shall obey." A man chuckled.

Everyone started to line up in rows, sitting down and closing their eyes. From children to adults, they all mediated.

"Will you meditate too?" Christa asked.

"No, I have a duty of care over Conrad when my lady is unable to."

"We can look after him if you'd like to join." She smiled.

Wisp shook his head.

"Unfortunately I can't."

Conrad turned to Wisp with pleading eyes.

"Please do it! I want you to help her too! I'll be okay I promise!"

"You don't like people but you want me to leave you with them?" Wisp chuckled lightly.

"I'll be a big, brave prince!" Conrad stated.

Wisp places Conrad down, and knelt down to be at his level.

"Is this your command my prince?" He asked seriously.

"Yes... I command you to meditate with the others."

"Of course little prince."

Wisp got up and joined the from of the line, sitting down with the others.

"Should you need me, just call my name."

Conrad nodded and watched as Wisp went into a state of meditation. Conrad looked over the rows of people slightly lost.

"Conrad?" Erwin called.

Conrad looked up at the commander and tilted his head a little.

"I'm Erwin Smith, it's nice to meet you."

"You too.." Conrad replied shyly.

Other man came up and folded his arms as he looked down at Conrad. His gaze instantly made the boy shiver, but he held his head high.

"Levi, don't scare him." Erwin sighed.

"I'm not scared..." Conrad pouted.

"Of course you aren't." Levi rolled his eyes, "I guess I'll look after you then. Let's go."

Levi started to walk away, and Conrad looked at Erwin for confirmation. Erwin nodded so he ran to catch up to Levi.

"Where are we going?"

"To clean (Y/N)s room. You've got to stay somewhere."

"Cleanings boring.."

"I didn't ask for your opinion."

"Meanie..." Conrad huffed.

"Brat."
