Only a few hours left to sleep
A new day is greeting us soon
Only a few hours left to wait
'til the sun alters the tune
'til the dreamy white mists of the night
That we slept in under the moon -
The beautiful moon that lightened our sight
Reminding us of our shared noon -
'til those mists drift apart
'til those sheets pull aside
'til those veiling silk clouds fall away
Revealing the vision we knew through the night
Of now sight and now here and now day
Only a few hours left to sleep
Only a few hours more
Only a few hours 'til we awake
And join a new path through the door
