A nightcap isn't a crutch.
Crutches help you stand up.

So, the whole 'nightcap' thing, I learned from Dallas. The show, not the city.
J.R. always had a nightcap before bed. Or maybe it was before dinner... Anyway, he always had a nightcap. A shot of whiskey, neat, in a cut crystal old fashioned glass, poured from a cut crystal decanter that sat on a mirrored tray with five other cut crystal old fashioned glasses.
J.R. always looked so in control.
