Life has been crazy. That's basically the gist of it.

It's been a few weeks and Beca has been working nonstop in the studio along side Jesse.
Their management team wanted them to release a new album soon so they were working hard to write, record and produce eight new songs. Because of this the two brunettes haven't spent much time with their girlfriends.

Chloe decided to bring Beca some lunch today. She walked through the halls of the studio with a proud smile. When she found Beca she entered quietly.

Beca turned to see who came in and smiled when she saw her girl. It had been hectic for her but chloe had been super understanding and helpful through it all.

"I decided to bring you lunch because I know how busy you are." Chloe smiled walking over to her.

Beca just smiled at her and pulled her down onto the chair and hugged her. Chloe giggled as she stroked the back of her head. Beca let out a sigh as she rested her head on her girlfriends shoulder.

"Beca!" Theo busted through the door.

"What." Beca whined.

"I need songs like ASAP." He said looking impatient.

"I've been giving you songs. All week to be exact! You all decided to make me write a song about something I don't know!" She snapped.

"All you and Jesse write are songs about love and all that stuff. The label wanted you to switch it up that's why they asked for a breakup song." He explained and Chloe raised an eyebrow, never being told that information.

"Well as you can see I'm in a happy relationship so it's kinda fucking hard to write a song about a breakup!" She yelled.

"You've had to have broken up with someone before, write about that." He suggested.

"Chloes been my only real relationship. I've never been in anything serious other then her. Yeah we had a hiccup back in high school where we broke up but we ended up back together in a month. If I wrote a song off of that it would be about getting the girl again not a fucking heartbreak." Beca told him.

"What about Jesse?" Theo asked.

"Jesses the same. His only real relationship is with Aubrey. I don't understand why we have to write this song. So many other artists have people write songs for them. Why can't we do that for this one song?" Beca asked.

"Because you and Jesse are known for being original. Nothing has ever been done by someone other then you two. Figure the song out." Theo said before leaving the room.

Beca groaned and dropped her head back to Chloes shoulder, "Kill me now." She said.

"Couldn't you use that song you wrote back when we did split. I remember there was Half a Heart and The Reason. Couldn't one of them work?" Chloe asked.

Beca's head shot up off her shoulder startling her a bit, "You're right!" Beca exclaimed.

She quickly rolled her chair over to where her laptop was and started going through her old files.

When she had finally found the song she threw her fist in the air in celebration. She hit play on the track and let the music flow through the office.

Beca smiled as she listened to the song. She found a lot of their old songs. She decided to bring them all to Theo who enjoyed them. They decided to re-record and release some of the old songs along with the new ones on their new album.

He finally let Beca go home so her and Chloe headed back to their house. When they arrived Beca just flopped down onto the couch with a sigh. Chloe followed her and just rubbed her back while Beca relaxed.
