Aurora's POV:
we reached the mansion and Leo parked the car, got out and headed inside.
"i have some work in my office, it will probably take me all afternoon, so try to distract Liam"
"yeah sure, good luck" i kissed his cheek and headed to our room. i entered the room and put back everything we took with us in its place. i heard a knock and i called them to come in.
"hey aurora" Rosie sat beside me on the bed
"hey mamma, how's everything?"
"everything's good, i just wanted to talk to you about something. i don't know if you know but its Liam's birthday today..."
"yeah i do, and i got him some dandelions from the field and i have a plan in mind, but i need your help"
"Rory, that's so sweet of you"
"don't worry about it, now come on we have to get everything ready we only have 6 hours" i got up and took her hand and walked outside the room.
when we reached the kitchen she asked " so what's your plan?"
"i was thinking we can make him a red velvet cake because that's his favorite and maybe some chocolate chip cookies"
"lets get to work, I'm going to call the the cooks to help us" i started taking the ingredients out
i heard footsteps behind me and felt arms wrap around me, i smelt the same scent, mint and oak.
"hey there"
"hey babe, what are you up to?"
"I'm cooking, weren't you supposed to have lots of work"
"i do, but i came here for 2 reasons. the first one is that i kept thinking about you. so i came down to hold you. the second is that i called some party organizers to come and fix up everything for the party, i wanted to ask you though, what type of cake does Liam like?"
i smiled "well I'm cooking him the cake, it red velvet"
he smirked "you know how to cook?"
i raised my eyebrow "yes, i lived alone for 2 years"
"you can make the cake but I'm getting all the food and snacks principessa"
"I'm making cookies too" he nodded then kissed my cheek and headed to his office
"i have never seen Leo smiling this much in one minute" Rosie's spoke behind me
"his smile is beautiful"
"it is, and we realized that because you came into our life. "she held my hand and smiled
a few cooks came in the kitchen "lets start cooking!"
