Avengers Stony Our little surprise

Ch. 24 "Cute"

                                                          Steve POV 

It was late morning almost noon, I've been searching for Tony to see if he's seen Jayden but so far I can't find him anywhere, 

I walked in the main area, seeing Sam and Bucky, 

"Hey you guys seen Tony?" I asked 

"No, haven't seen him all day, which is weird," Bucky said scratching his head in confusion 

"What's wrong miss your hubby?" Sam asked 

"No, just can't seem to find him or Jayden anywhere," I said 

"What's wrong?" Nat said walking in

"Oh Cap is just having a heart attack," Sam said 

"Have you tried asking the ceiling," Loki asked 

Meaning Friday, 

"Friday, where is Tony?" I asked 

"Mr. Stark seems to be in Miss Taylor's room," Friday said 

We all looked at each other, we rushed down the hall, I opened the door, 

And there laid Tony with his arm around Jayden, and his other arm over his eyes, Jayden had her head on his chest, one hand had his shirt in a death grip, while the other had her thumb in her mouth, 

"Awww!" Sam cooed, 

"Shh," Nat said 

I looked at my watch it's 11:45 I don't think Tony has ever slept in like this for as long as I've known him, 

"Come on let's let them sleep," I whispered 

And closed the door quietly 

                                          Tony POV 

My eyelids fluttered open once I hear the door shut, I looked around and realize I must have failed asleep here, I look down at Jayden and she's still out like a light, still gripping my shirt to death, 

Kid really must hate thunderstorms, I thought 

I guess I should put in some sound proof windows, she looked so peaceful when she's asleep, different from the mischievous smirk she often holds, 

I didn't even attempt to move because I didn't want to risk waking her, 

I brushed some of her hair out of her face, 

"What are you doing to me, shorty," I mumbled 

I see her eyelids move a little, her eyelids slowly flutter open, her deep blue eyes, so blue it reminds you of the sea just after a storm, 

"Morning shorty," I said 

"Morning.." She said still trying to wake up, 

"You hungry?" I said getting out of the bed, 

She nodded, 

"Alright, get dressed and we can have a late breakfast," I said 

She nodded 

With that I walked out of the room giving her time to get ready.
