Van Helsing got his guns ready quickly, and stuffed them into his cloak.
"You can't go so soon," said Anna, putting her hands on his shoulders. "I'll come with you."
Van Helsing turned to face her with a toss of his mane.
"I have to go, darling. And you have to stay here and protect your people."
Anna looked at him with her large, worried eyes. She then pulled out a bracelet from her clothes, and put it on his wrist.
"My love, if you are in any form of trouble, this bracelet shall convey that to me. I shall come to your aid."
Van Helsing smiled, and embraced her in a kiss.
"I love you, Anna Valerious."
"I love you too, Gabriel Van Helsing."
"Van Helsing, are you gonna come or keep snogging with your girlfriend?" came Carl's voice.
"Take care, darling," Van Helsing quickly said. He fondled her cheeks and joined Carl outside the room.
"How does it feel like to be loved?" asked Carl.
"Heaven," replied Van Helsing.
Soon, they began to walk towards the gates of Transylvania.
It was the beginning of a whole new adventure!
