Yeji's POV

3 days

3 days of being on the same room with her

And everything is honestly fine

She learned to listen to me

And kindda stopped pushing me away

I feel like we're already friends again

But lets be honest

We know we cant stay as friends for a long period of time

We're currently on the beach

My son and her son are enjoying the water

Her parents went for a walk and Lia decided to stay at their room with her wife

Im at a nearby bar watching Ryujin watch the kids

"Strawberry vodka please"I ordered

"Soft alcoholic drink for a lady like you?"the bar tender said

I chuckled

"Its for someone else"I said

"Thought so,youre more like a hard core drinker"the bartender said as he started mixing the drink

"Trust me,I an chug a whole carton of beer and still walk straight"I said making him laugh

He finished mixing the drink and handed me the glass

"And a beer for you,drinks on the house go get your girl missy"he said and winked

"Thank you"I said and went to Ryujin

"Vodka?"I offered her the glass

She looked at me

"Dont worry its not a hard alcohol,its mixed with strawberry soda"I assured her

She chuckled and accepted the glass

I looked at Sungjin and my son

Theyre having fun splashing each other

"They look like siblings"I said making Ryujin look at me as she took a sip of her drink

"And we're the parents"I blurted out

She cleared her throat

"Sorry that just came out of my mouth"I said and averted my gaze

"What if"she said making me look at her again

"What if we didnt break up.....are we happily married now?"she asked

I gulped

"What if Sungjin and Hyujin are our sons,will I be truly happy?,will I be able to smile honestly and not fake it?"she asked

I saw tear falling from her cheeks

"If you let me explain 11 years ago would I be married to you and not him?If you didnt cheated will I be happy with you right now?"she asked as she looked at me with pain in her eyes

I couldnt stop my tears from falling

"Im sorry..."I whispered

"But thanks to you I became stronger,Im married now Yeji....."she said

"Is it too late for me?"I asked

"Y-Yes"she hesitatedly said

"Lies"I replied

"Yeji please"she said

"Please what Ryujin I dont even know what youre pleading for,please leave me alone,please get back together with me,please just be happy fo me-"

"Please save me from this hell...."she sobbed

I looked at her

"I dont want to be with him anymore....I just want to be happy but everything is a mess...I just want to smile with honesty again....why does everything have to be a mess"she sobbed

I hugged her

Tightly

"Do you still love me?"I asked

She nodded

"Will you let me help you"I asked

"No"she replied

I broke the hug and looked at her

"Why?"I asked

"Because it will only make things worst Yeji...I dont want you to get involve in this mess"she replied

"Why...are they hurting you?abusing you?Ryujin tell me are they laying hands on you?"I asked worriedly

She looked away and just shook her head

"Youre lying"I said

"Im not"she replied

"You are-"

"Im not Yeji...sorry...I was just overwhelmed...forget what I said...dont save me because I dont need it...Im happy with Soobin..."she replied before calling Sungjin and went back at the hotel

I sighed and clenched my fist
