Ryujin's POV

Another morning at the hospital

Geez this will be tiring

"Well you look tired"Chaeryeong said as she sat beside 

I'm currently in the cafeteria trying to get more sleep

"You dont say"I said

"Mocha?"someone offered

I looked up and Chaeryeong immediately smiled

"Thanks Lee Know"I said and accepted the cup of Mocha latte he's offering

"I'll be honest you two look good"Chaeryeong said

"Thanks"Lee Know said and smiled

"Min ho?"A familiar voice said

Lee Know turned around to see Han and Yeji 

Han's POV

"Han nice to see you here"he said and smiled

"Nice to see you too what are you doing here?"I asked

"Oh you didnt know?I work here"he replied and looked at Doctor Shin

"You two know each other?"I asked

"Oh Ryujin?yeah we met back in Australia and now Im currently courting her"he said

I slowly let go of Yeji's hand

"Really?Thats nice to hear"I said and smiled

But I noticed something

My own smile...it's forced...

Yeji's POV

Whats so nice about that they dont even look good together

"Uhmm girlfriend??"he asked Han as he pointed at me

Ryujin already told you that why would you even ask

"Uhm yeah dating for a few weeks now"he replied

"Ok"Lee Know simply replied

Ok?

kindda rude?

Its like telling me he doesnt want me for his best friend

Then Chaeryeong's phone rang

"Ne nurse Ji eun?"she asked as she answered the call

"Ok I'll tell her immediately"she said and ended the call

"Emergency surgery,10 years old boy,car accident"Chaeryeong said

Ryujin quickly finished her drink and grabbed my hand

"Where are we going?"I asked

"Youre my assistant surgeon did you forgot?"she asked

Right...

"As you heard Chaeryeong the patient is a child we need to hurry"she said

We ran towards the locker room and changed to our scrubs then hurriedly went towards the emergency room and sanitized our hands before entering the operating room

"We examined the patients situation and he has a fractured bone on the neck and some internal bleed on his abdomen"nurse Ji eun said

"Suit me up"Ryujin said and they started to put PPE on her before getting in position

"Sreen"Ryujin said and I fixed the screen infront of her

"We're in a rush can you deal with the internal bleeding while I fix the fractured bone"she asked

"isnt that dangerous?the child might lose a lot of blood"I said

"Trust me"she said

I gulped and nodded

"All residents assist Doctor Hwang Nurse Ji Eun assist me"she said

Ryujin's POV

I finished stitching and placed the tools back down

"Good job everyone"I said as I stood up

All the nurses and Residents bowed down and thanked me before taking the patient out of the operating room

Another successful operation

"Youre something Shin"Yeji said

I smiled

"I do my best when it comes to my patients"I said

"I shouldnt doubt you next operation"she said

I chuckle

"Why are you doubting me?"I asked

"I was too worried that the child might lose a lot of blood thats why I'm doubting"she replied

"Taking a risk can only mean two things"she said and looked at me

"Saving the patients life or Putting the patients life in danger"she replied

"I'll take your word"she replied

"Thank you"I said

"Is he really courting you?"she suddenly ask

I looked at her and nodded

"Part of me is saying that youre telling a lie"she replied

"Part of me says that you dont love Jisung"I countered

She didnt reply

"Youre not the only who's allowed to move on"I said and was about to leave

"What if  I actually dont?What if I just cant leave him"she said making me stop walking

"Then make your decision then talk to me"I said and left
