Jealousy // Kunimi x Reader Fanfic

As the practice comes to an end, Kindaichi comes up to me with Kunimi by his side.
"I have to go finish an assignment from one of my classes. Kunimi can take you home today, or do you want to wait?"
"No, he can take me."
Kindaichi shoots me a thumbs up.
"Alrighty then, don't get lost."
And just like that, he's off to finish his assignment.
I'm pretty sure I remember the way back home.
Kunimi and I start heading back to my home. He glances at me.
"C-Can I have your number?"
I look at him and smile.
"Sure, why not?"
We exchange numbers and check it's the right one.
"There's my house!" I exclaim.
"My house is actually a few blocks down, so I think you'll be okay if you can walk by yourself from here."
"Yeah, I think so too. Thank you for walking me home, Kunimi." I smile.
"No problem, text me when you get home okay?"
"Yep, I'll see you tomorrow."
We wave bye to eachother and head our separate ways. He's such a good friend already.

Kindaichi comes not too long after I arrive home. Me and Kunimi text each other until we both get tired. And now the first day of my new school is completed.
