Jealousy // Kunimi x Reader Fanfic

-I almost cried rereading this-

As we approach the front door, I hear yelling inside the small house.
I start to panic. "Hey, I need to see what's going on inside." I give them both quick hugs and wave bye to them.
When I enter the door I see Kunimi and Kindaichi yelling at eachother.
"You shouldn't even be near Akaha! That's a bad move!"
"Well it's like she cares more about me than Y/N!"
I stared at the two boys in shock not knowing what to say or what to do.
Then they turn to me.
Kindaichi comes jogging towards me.
"Y/N! I-I'm sorry we didn't know that you came."
I stare at him and open my mouth, expecting some words to come out, but I didn't say anything. I see Kunimi with his back towards me, I assume he's crying because of the faint movements of his shoulders. I walk to Kunimi and put a hand on his shoulder. He immediately turns around and gives me a tight hug and I hug him back.
"I'm sorry," Kunimi whispers into my ear softly.
"Why?"
"I'm with Akaha now."

Those words repeat in my head.
Over and over again.
Like they're mocking me.
Telling me im not good.
Telling me he was lying.
Telling me I should get away.
I should run.
I should scream.
I should argue.
But I dont.

I make the hug tighter while shaking a bit.
I feel my eyes start to burn. Then a hot tear runs down my cheek.

"It's fine."
