- DRACO's POV -
i was walking in the hallways, seeing that it's my turn to patrol i have to do it.

the halls are empty, cold, and dim. my footsteps echoed through the halls as i walk,

i thought there wasn't going to be anyone but that is until i hear a hiccup, it was low but i managed to hear it, i decided to walk towards the sound.

i round a corner and i stopped on my tracks, there, i see a girl crying, i fight with my mind whether or not i should approach her,

i was saying no and just leave her be but my legs walks towards the girl without my command and before i notice it i was already standing in front of her,

'there's no way i could turn around now huh?' i thought to myself , i huff a bit and crouch so i'm on her level

"you alright?" i tried

the girl looks at me, her eyes filled with tears, cheeks wet, and her lips trembles a bit

"are you okay?" i tried again

she looks down and stays quiet, i sigh.

slowly and hesitantly i put my hand on her back, she flinch slightly but calms down when i starts to rub circles on her back,

i keep doing that until i hear her stops sobbing and stops shaking

"are you alright?" she looks at me and nods

i rolled my eyes knowing so much that it is a lie "don't lie to the head boy" i say

she lets out a sigh "i...i-.. my 'friends' called me a stupid pig- a-and they said i'm a worthless piece of junk- that-that i'm a-a freak.." she said and lets out a couple of hiccups

i look down at her in pity "well.. i don't think you're any of those" i try

she looks up at me with a bit of hope in her eyes "you're just saying that because i'm pathetic" she says and look down again

"no, i mean it. a wise man once told me that.. if someone hates you, if someone mocks you about something, that just mean that they're jealous of you, because you have something that they don't" i answered her, after i finished i was surprised that i say those words
