With all secrets, each individual that it is told to is swornto secrecy. It is their sole duty to protect it with their life, much like a warden protecting their prison. Running away from your sole duty is only a temporary solution. I realized that much too late. I realized my ability to fulfil this role lacked, similar to the absence of oxygen in your blood, your body stops functioning. I stopped functioning.
Kingdom Matias was passed to my father, Darius Ahmed. Or so I thought. "Lies are only told to protect ourselves", he uttered each time as he deceived everyone around him.
