hey guys, im finally back with another chapter which I hope you'll enjoy just as much as I enjoyed writing it! I'm introducing a few 'new' characters in this; I hope you'll like it.

A few weeks had passed without Niall and I talking. Not talking to him was strange, considering we saw each other everyday since we hung out with the same group of people. The way he ignored me hurt me, so I decided to also get new friends. Just so I didn't have to hang around with him as much. At lunch, people had gathered around the lunch areas. It was snowy outside, so no one wanted to eat out. I spotted Harry sitting with his friends. I waved when our eyes met, and I even got a small smile from Ingrid. Then I saw 'my' table. It was Zayn, Ariel, Natalie and Niall as usual. Plus a few girls and guys who wanted to hang out with the populars. As Niall looked directly into my eyes, I glared at him while walking towards Harry and his table.

I smiled, "Hi! Do you mind me sitting here?"

Some people shook their heads while some simply ignored me. Atleast they didn't say no?

"Hey Erica," Harry softly said.

"Hi Haz." I said while putting my shoulder bag down on the floor.

"Let me introduce you to my friends." He said making me nod.

"Okay, so this is Ingrid, my girlfriend, Lolly, Marie, Liam, Dana and Louis," He smiled, "Louis and Marie are dating by the way." He added with a wink.

I had seen Liam before. He was the one who 'helped' me when I first got here. He smiled.

I nodded at Harry as I looked at everyone. They were all really friendly, and I couldn't help but feel at home.

"So, why are you sitting here?" Ingrid spoke up, giving me a small smile.

"Did they like.. Kick you out?" Another pretty girl I recognized as 'Lolly' said. She looked worried.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well..," Lolly whispered, "They don't really stay friends with people. Usually, they kick them out of their group after a while. I really don't think they're as nice as people say." She said.

"Nonsense, Lolly!" Harry spoke.

"It's true and you know it." Lolly slowly said, looking down at her fingers.

"They have never done anything to me. Every single one of them are nice people with a big heart. They're my friends and I refuse to believe they'd do anything like that." I said.

But that was a lie. Maybe they were like that.. If I stayed friends with them, would they just kick me out of their group once they were bored with me? Would they stop talking to me like Niall did? Would I have to loose someone important to me all over again? I hated being hurt by other people. I hated being alone.

When I left the table to get some food, I passed my old table, "Hey Erica! Come sit down." Ariel said while patting on the seat beside her.

They'll hurt me if I stay friends with them. A voice in my head said.

I kept on walking, tears brimming in my eyes. A few months passed like this. Ariel and Natalie stopped asking me what was wrong a few weeks after I started ignoring them. They probably grew bored of me.

"Hey Erica." A voice said from behind me as I let out a yelp.

I turned around, fear evident on my face, "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to startle you." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

"It's okay....," I replied, raising my eyebrows.

"Stefan. My name is Stefan." He said.

He was quite attractive really, and I found myself staring him up and down, "Eyes up here." He winked.

I fought back a blush, wanting to seem cool, "Don't pretend you didn't eye me up and down before." I teased.

He smiled, "Guilty."

"Hey," He whispered, "Do you know any Niall around here? I'm one of his.. Friends and I haven't been able to reach him for a couple of days."

I sighed, "Yes, I know him."

"And?" He said.

"And, I can show you to him." I said.

"Okay-" I cut him off, "But I want something in return." I quickly said.

He nodded, smiling, "Sure, what do you want?"

"I want you to smack him really hard on his face." I said and I swore I saw a smile creeping onto his face.

"I can't hit one of my best mates." He said.

"Do it or I won't tell you." I shrugged.

After a few minutes of glaring into each other's eyes, he gave up.

"Alright, alright. But I'm telling him it was from you, or else he'll kill me." He said.

I nodded, grabbing my bag I didn't even realize I dropped, "Thanks."

He smiled, "You're very welcome."

"Room 373. Walk down that hallway, then-" He cut me off by shaking his head.

"Why don't you come with me? Then you can smack him yourself." He said.

I thought about it for a little while before deciding to go with him. Nothing would satisfy me more than doing it myself.

I showed him to his room, leaving him to knock on the door. He raised his eyebrow when I hid behind him. However, he didn't question my behavior. I had never been in his room, I only knew the number and where it was because of Zayn.

My first time in Nialls room.

I couldn't help but let a small blush find its way onto my cheeks.

A few seconds after Stefan knocked on the door, it opened. Zayn stood there, his face quite cold.

"You are not welcome here." He said.

I felt Stefan grabbing my arm as I let out a pained cry, "What the heck?!" I hissed as he pulled me beside him.

Zayn's face softened when he saw me, but he still glared at Stefan.

"Let me in." He said.

Zayn gave me one last look before opening the door completely. Stefan threw me on the couch. I realized there'd be a mark on my upper arm as I started rubbing it. Why did he do that? We waited a few minutes before Niall stepped into the room. His face was cold, but he was still as handsome as ever. He grabbed my arm, pulling me into his bedroom.

He looked over at me, anger evident on his face, "You led him here!" He hissed.

I frowned, "What do you mean?"

"Don't play innocent," He hissed, "You led Stefan here. Are you a part of his gang or what?!" He yelled at me.

"I-i don't know what you're taking about." I said, trying not to cry.

"Fucking pathetic." He hissed.

"That's it!" I yelled, using all my powers to slap him across his face.

"You're such a jerk and I FUCKING HATE YOU!" I yelled, running out of the room.

Stefan and Zayn had their backs towards me, so I quickly ran out of his dorm and down the hallway.

But I didn't hate him. In fact, I realized that I now, more than ever, was in love with him.

In love with him and his cold heart.
