Natalie's POV
His hand was resting on the small of my back as he directed me towards the restaurant.

"Are we sure we're okay with Mel going on her own she's fourteen?", Nolan second chanced himself and I was already way ahead of him.

"I did some moving around and I worked it out", I told him and he looked confused as one would be when someone says something random, unrelated.

"So she's at home?", he said as we walked along the cold Seattle breeze, grabbing for each other's hands.

"I did us one better", I said while opening the door for him as he walked inside. I followed behind him as we entered the restaurant an elegant, expensive flourish of tiny meals for rich people.

"You hate these meals, and you surely know I don't like them", he told me and that's when I pointed out Melody and Zeke in the crowd sitting, waiting for a table.

"We're spying on them?", he asked and I nodded my head, I had to be a good sister and keep her from getting in trouble, besides she's 13.

"It's just a coincidence we came to this restaurant and they're here as well, a funny story, right", I told him and he just laughed at my excuse of the situation.

The place was filled up, and I'm assuming Zeke didn't make a reservation, I slipped by to the hostess and just asked what the wait time was.

"It's 40 minutes", she said sternly and I looked over at Melody and Zeke who were getting seamlessly tired.

"Can you give that girl and boy our reservation it's under Natalie, but don't say it's from us", I said and she completely did not understand but she did it anyways.

"We've done our part, let's go",I dragged Nolan away as he stayed with his eyes peeled towards Mel and Zeke.

"What if he tries to kiss her?", he asked and he pulled me down next to him as we watched through the hole.

"We let them both do what they want, we're not going to be overprotective parents", I pulled him up, hoping he would give them privacy.

"I will definitely be an overprotective parent our daughter won't be allowed to wander with random boys", he scoffed and kneeled back down watching as they laughed at something.

"At this rate there will be no child to be an overprotective parent for, let's go", I pulled him up as he took one last look and walked out of the restaurant.

"Have I told you, that you look beautiful today?", he said charming me, with his swooning.

"We are not going back there", I pulled him back and I picked up on his charming tricks.

"At least I tried, but you do look very beautiful", he said as I leaned against his long arm as we walked along the breeze.

"I was planning on wearing sweats, but I decided that why don't I wear something classy make sure your eyes are on me and only me", I told him as we stopped at a traffic light.

"Jealousy is a new favorite for you", he said and I slapped his arm as he winced.

"I do not get jealous, you are securely mine", I said defensively and I grasped his hand tightly.

"And if I wasn't one day?", he asked me a question I had never really thought about it ever since I really loved him and got to know who he was. I thought about divorcing him every day I hated him, but now I couldn't imagine it.

"Well then you would have to be dead in a coffin, under ground", I said slightly to the side, hoping to not confront this question out of the blue. I hated change, I hated loss, I hated death, and I was happy I didn't want to think that death was something that could happen to him because it hurt me too much.
