Anna's POV
I sigh and look at Kat, "Kat?" I whisper and she looks at me and waves, "d-didn't Jane say it was supposed to storm tonight?" I ask and she nods,
"I'm not too worried about it though! It shouldn't start until later," she says and I nod. "Are you worried about it?" She asks and I shake my head,
"Not at all!" I lie, I was worried about it, way too worried about it. I hate the dark, and if the power goes out I'm screwed!
The girls were at the theatre, me and Kat took the night off since we were both tired and Kat was incredibly sore, she went jumping at the trampoline park for longer than she should've.
Kat stands up and whines, "it hurts,"
"You did it to yourself," I say and I hear thunder and flinch. Kat looks at me concerned,
"Are you okay?" She asks and I nod,
"U-uh-huh" I whisper and she walks over to me and kisses my cheek.
"Wanna go upstairs and play a game?" She asks and I nod, "candy land?" She asks and I nod again, she grabs my hand and pulls me upstairs and into her room.
Tiny time skip
I get tears in my eyes and move my character to the next blue space. Kat looks at me and grabs my hands, "Anna what's wrong?" She whispers and the power goes out causing me to scream. I pull my hands away from her and start crying, she grabs her flashlight and turns it on. "Anna it's okay, you're okay. You're gonna be just fine" she whispers and pulls me into her lap.
"Sc-scary," I whisper and she sets me on her bed,
"I know you're scared but it's okay. Nothings gonna be able to hurt you," she whispers to me and sits down next to me. I hug her tightly and she pulls me close to her. "What are you scared of?" She whispers,
"D-dark,"
"You don't like the dark?" She asks and wiped away my tears, I nod and stop crying. "How about we keep the flashlight on and we can cuddle until the power come back on?" She asks and I nod again.
"C-cuddles" I whisper and Kat pats down pulling me with her. I lay my head on her chest and nuzzled into her.
"Wanna know something?" She whispers and I nod, "when we first came back you were the first person I wanted to see. I knew that I was safe with you. I knew that you weren't gonna hurt me" she whispers and I smile and draw hearts on her stomach making her giggle. "And I remember telling Jane how I felt about you and she told me that I should ask you out," she whispers,
"Which you did," I whisper quietly and she nods.
"I can remember practicing asking you out in the mirror. Then doing the actual thing and then you were mine and I was yours" she whispered and I nuzzle into her. "I love you beautiful," she whispered,
"Love you too," I whisper and she starts humming.
The next day
Janes POV
I walk inside, "Sleeping in the theatre is not enjoyable" I mumble
"You're telling me," Catherine says and walks upstairs.
"I'm gonna go check on KatAnna really quick" I say then walk upstairs and into Kats room to see Kat holding Anna as close as she could and both of them sleeping. Anna had her head in Kats chest and her arms close to her chest while Kat had her arms wrapped around Anna's waist.
"Awwwww," Catherine says from behind me.
"They're adorable together," I whisper and leaned against Catherine.
"And you're just adorable, and beautiful. Very very beautiful," she whispers and I blush.
