Luke 9:23(NIV)
Then He said to them all," Who ever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
This verse contains the instructions on how to be a disciple of Christ.
We are told to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Christ.
Being a disciple of Christ isn't easy.We must put our selfish desires aside and focus on God. We must have a mindset like Jesus which focuses on God's will and not ours.
We must be willing to surrender our life to God and sacrifice our worldly pleasures and comforts.
The verse states that this should be done daily, not weekly or monthly or once in a while but every single day.
Are you willing to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow God?
